This roleplay gave me total trauma

The search party

@Strong_Woman: We are going to the hospital and that's final.

Cody sat in his seat, his mind racing. Eva, Alejandro and Dave were bound to arrive any minute and when they did he would have to lie and lie and not stop lying. Deep down though he knew it was what Heather wanted. And he was fine with it, he only wanted to make her happy.

Several minutes later the group walked in, lead by Eva. She spotted Cody hunched up in a chair in the corner and approached him.
"Mind explaining?"
Cody's mouth opened, but it shut immediately. He couldn't find the words.

Alejandro, who was stood behind Eva and growing very impatient, stepped forward.
"ANSWER THE QUESTION"
"I-I'm sorry!!" Cody curled up into a ball.
"What do you mean SORRY?? I swear Cody you are so gonna regret this"
"Cody, what's up?" Eva asked, her voice softening slightly. Then, she turned to Alejandro and hissed "Shut up Al, you're not helping!"
Dave remained quiet.
"Eva, he's refusing to talk!!!"
"Duh!!"
"Cody, tell us what happened. Is she alive?"
"NO SHE IS NOT!!! I HOPE SHE IS ALIVE BUT I DONT KNOW SHE- I JUST DON'T KNOW"
Eva rolled her eyes and Alejandro stepped back.
Suddenly, a cheery voice came from the doorway.
"Hiii guys!! Is this a hospital party? Fun!!"
"Oh great" Dave sighed "Izzy, not now. This is serious"
"Is it a game?? I love games!!"
"Si no sabes si está viva o no, ¿por qué le dirías a todo el mundo que está muerta? No sé quién diablos te crees que eres Cody. Pero si todo esto es solo una mentira, haré de tu vida un infierno para siempre. Solo sé eso.!!"
Izzy giggled "Ooh a translation game!! Err- hola!"
Eva turned and looked slightly shocked at the sight of Izzy.
"When did you get here?"
"SHE SENT ME A MESSAGE SAYING SHE WAS DEAD" shouted cody.
Dave stayed calm "Izzy, sit down. Now is not the time to be all crazy, this is important."
Izzy ignored him and instead started speaking to Eva.
"Hiii Eva!!"
"Hello Izzy"
Alejandro was both confused and frustrated.
"She....errr....sent you that?"
"Ooh a mystery game!! A murder mystery game!!"
Eva rolled her eyes again. "Izzy, no. Heather could be dead."
"WHAT?!"
"She's my best friend. I don't know why she did that. Im so so so so so, so sorry." Cody started coughing. "So- Sorry."
"Hey don't worry Cody!! I can like totes find her!!"
Alejandro, Eva and Cody both turned and looked very surprised.
"You can?! How??!!"
"Did you go to her dorm?"
Izzy giggled again. "Nooo! I can follow her scent!"
"Oh- Kay. That's not weird at all" Eva sighed.
"Yeah!! I just need some of her clothes. One time when my little brother ran away i tried it and it worked!!"
"Wow."
"Trust me guys!! I just need to get into her room."
Cody looked up "it's..its open."
"Oooh!!"
Alejandro continued speaking to Cody and Dave.
"Ok byeee guys!! Text ya later haha!!"
Then, Izzy disappeared out of the room.

Dave watched her leave. "She's one strange ginger."
"You can't be talking, your name is Dave" Alejandro snorted.
"Excuse me, my middle name is Dave!!! My first name is David."
"David is somehow worse."
"Shut it Alejandro. I have some dirt on y-"
"That's enough." Eva interrupted.
