This roleplay gave me total trauma

The gathering

"Well, if you need a place to hide my lawyer Jessica lives on the floor above. She's got a suite."
Courtney hugged Heather.

Outside though, Eva arrived. She looked around for Izzy and called out for her.
"I'm here!!" Izzy waved and began jumping up and down. Alejandro also arrived, with Cody and Dave.
"Izzy! Did you find Heather?" Eva walked over.
"Yeah, where is she?"
"Oh, she's in the hotel!!"
They all looked relieved. "Izzy, you are so odd yet amazing."
"At least she led us here."
"Yeah!! I was born with this condition where my nose is like ten times stronger than a normal human!!"
Eva nodded, clearly impressed.
"Izzy I wouldn't be surprised if you were an alien." Alejandro chuckled to himself.
"Oh, I was abducted by aliens once!!"
"You were what?"
"Izzy, you are one crazy girl."
"Guys, it doesn't matter right now. Let's discuss Heather."
"Ooh good idea!!"
Cody stared at Eva "I think we should split up...you know, to cover more ground."
"Sure, I'll go with Izzy"
Alejandro groaned "I'm not going with Dave or Cody so I'll go alone."
"Fine, that leaves us two Cody."
"Ugh, no thanks. I'm going alone too."
"Whatever, Dave can come with us. Where first Izzy?"
Izzy's face lit up "ooh, let's go up to the top!!"

The search had begun. Izzy, Eva and Dave were searching up the top. Cody was searching the second floor as well as Alejandro. When he stepped out of the elevator he saw Cody standing at a specific door, talking in a very panicked voice to someone.
"Cody?"
Cody turned, a little surprised.
"Err- I- wrong door!!"
He knew full well it was the correct door.

Meanwhile, Izzy and the other two were climbing up to the roof. Eva and Dave were debating whether to go to the roof or the level with Cody.
"We should just trust Izzy....she got us this far."
Dave shrugged, showing no sign of objection. They continued clambering up the stairs until Izzy stopped.
"Wait, I think she might be on the same level as Cody!!"

"Cody, who were you talking to?"
Cody's face began to heat up. "Yeah I err-walked in on someone err—changing."
Heather on the other side of the door rolled her eyes, but yet was still trembling in fear whilst Courtney was trying to comfort her.
"Ouch, sorry dude. Let's keep searching."
Cody nodded "alright"
Alejandro moved closer to where Cody was standing. "I can hear something...and it sounds like- Heather."
