Flee..?

Ink got screeched at when he appeared suddenly by the road, people everywhere being rather scared when he appeared out of nowhere. It's not like he could care anymore though...well he did care for the people...but now he realized that care came from pity from feelings so bottled up that he had never expected to find them- Or were never meant to be found by him...is probably the best way to say it now.
His running after that started fast but became slow as he felt himself get winded, slightly calming as his adrenaline faded away. Eventually he came to a completely stop in the middle of a giant field, flowers blowing in the wind and creating a strange blur of colors in his exhausted eyes. The city was barely visible over a line of trees, but that wasn't the thing that was catching his attention right now.
"W-Wh-"
"Ink!?"
Gasping, Ink somehow found the energy to start running again. It was easy to recognize the voice as Blue's, that made more clear by the small noise he made of surprise- But also excited pleasure, knowing he had found his target. He hadn't listened to Dream's command to just watch Ink, and was now intending on capturing him and bringing him back, along with probably making up some story along the way to rationalize to Dream what he had done. He didn't want to be some hero to Dream, no he just wanted to recapture Ink- For reasons probably less pleasant then to be described.
For every inch Ink got ahed it felt like Blue was traveling a foot, approaching quicker and quicker to a degree that began to grow worrisome. By the time Ink could turn around and make out the others expression, Ink couldn't help but stare.
He was stuck staring at the smile that he felt like he saw every day, but was now just seen through the feeling he had missed. Epiphanies about a once kind gestures shown by Blue constantly, was now turning into what they really were, scary shows of intense desire to do things he was told not to. Somethings that had been buried over and over again until every so often it just wouldn't be enough to top it off again, and it'd be let out.
Panicked glances and slowly clumsy growing steps were all that followed this scary epiphany, which was stupid of Ink but he couldn't help it anymore, he had forgotten how to. These small trips in his gallop only aloud Blue to get close enough to grab at him. Ink chocked on his scarf, before slipping out Blue's grasp and tumbling down a hill. It hurt, his back wrapping around a small tree or two before his weight had been able to snap them. Blue cursed at himself, unhappy with the mistake but then seeing a silver lining, before a rather good solution. That being? Ink hadn't yet moved, his body twitching an all to familiar twitch that Blue felt there was no need to worry. Ink, at least to Blue, appeared to be dead...so he left. He knew the body wouldn't dust so there was no need to stay for anything anymore, and no need to make the journey to try and check the dead corpse...but even though he remembered that, he had forgotten another thing...
A gasp came from Ink's still body, as he sat up with a great deal of pain. He was confused at first...he thought he should be dead, he couldn't say he thought he was...but if he could've...well... A lot of the injuries to his body didn't seem to show, a crack here or there, a bruise, maybe a little bit of already ended bleeding? It was confusing...but Ink just defaulted back to what he had just recently learned...he had just forgotten, and Dream never told him something that would lead to this. Despite everything on him looking ok though, when he stood up he could feel how much they weren't.
Pain and tingling shook him near back down on the ground, but strength somehow seemed to find Ink again and he started to walk. Steps were wobbly, but soon became level. It was like nothing has happened after a few moments, despite there still being many visible injuries one his arms, and covered ones most likely still on his legs.
"Wow..."
Everything felt shocking, what had happened, how his body was behaving, and even where he was. Ink felt swallowed by the tree around him, the woods looking endless every way he glanced but behind. He wanted to run through them, see what he could find or what he couldn't, but he didn't wanna make all of that noise yet...he was still weary. He took small steps, his pants every so often catching on twigs and making him yank forward, but over all it was rather calm.
It felt like he walked or ran for hours at, dusk starting to take over the now gloom filling woods. But just as this began to happen, Ink saw something...and it was something big. A wall scaling to the sky so high that it could barely be seen was in front of Ink, he only saw it when he was inches away from running into it. When he did however he slowly felt himself instead going out to touch it. He was nervous...but he still let his hands land. Nothing happened of course, it was a magic wall after all, but Ink still could feel something weird about it...
Ink pressed his face close to the surface of the wall, getting close enough to see through the foggy surface and seeing what was on the other side. It was dark, the air almost looking ashy and black with dead trees breaking apart swarms of the black specks. The wind blew around the only thing it could, dust that spun into mounds that varied in size.
"Oh my stars...what is this..?"
Ink didn't know why but he felt himself drawn closer to the wall...or better whatever the force could be on the other side. He pressed in more and more despite knowing far to well that he couldn't get through...but as he did he felt the presence of something familiar her closer...
"...What are you doing Ink?"
Ink shook, spinning himself around and pressing his scared body to the force behind him as he glared at Dream. The wall made him feel Dream more in some way, probably because it was made of his magic...Dream soon to confirm this suspicious actually.
"You know when you touched that it told me where you were...it wasn't to hard to find you..."
"...I thought that would have been Blue..."
"And that was naive of you after the stunt he pulled against my orders... What? Don't act surprised that I know...your fall trail wasn't subtle..."
Even though Ink gave Dream a knowing stare, he said nothing, just allowing Dream to continue on.
"...But after everything I had told you before it's not shocking. But now that makes me curious, after all of this what do you think I'm going to do about you?"
"I don't really know..."
"You don't?"
"How could I...everything I thought you and your world was, was a lie..."
For a moment Dream looked like he was going to respond but then didn't, appearing as nonchalant as he could as he scratched his chin and thought.
"Hm...I guess that would be correct, huh?~"
"Don't be so cocky about it, you-"
"Why not? I got away with it for so long, I think I mine as well~"
"...You're sick..."
"I'm not sick, I'm a savo- I save people, and help them...they'd thank me if they knew what I'm doing for them... Don't you see why? After looking out there-"
"I don't know whats out there, I've barely seen anything... You're to self centered to realize people might not want this help... I wouldn't...I don't..."
Dream felt himself tense, but he didn't show it, there was no need to be since he already knew why he was there and 'that' was pretty much it. So he kept himself together, just slowly walking forward to do what he had to. Ink went to back away, but he had no where else to go and just made Dream chuckle.
"You don't have anywhere to go, and you're running out of anymore more moral monologging you can possibly think of...I feel like we should really wrap this is up."
"Ha!- Coming from you, that's- *Tunk!*"
Dream stared at Ink blanking as he tumbled to the ground, the small fragment of teal magic he had used to accomplish this disappearing after the fact. That's all Dream did though for a while, was stare at Ink...then eventually he did say something, though nothing really sensical.
"What? Bright? Rich? I at least cut it short this time, there's no use in the drawing it out now that you know..."
Using a small amount of magic, more teal and bright yellow forms of magic helped lift Ink up as Dream smiled warmly yet also creepily.
"Come along now, I do still need you for something...and this didn't accomplish what I was hoping..."
Dream turned around as he began to walk away before just teleporting back to his city to do what he needed to with Ink.
