Chapter one
BEEP, BEEP, BEEP my alarm was going off its head. I walked across the room and turned it off, blinking on the screen was 06:01am. I had been awake for hours. I just couldn't sleep. I kept having this wearied feeling that someone or thing was watching me. I walked back to my desk where I had my sketch book out and scattered pens and pencils. I was always up so early. Sometimes it's that feeling, but tonight it was that dream. That dream where a white wolf carried a girl on its back and it was running through a dark forest. All I could see of the face was the eye bright hazel eye's full of worry. And then something would happen and like ice been thrown down my back, I'd wake up.
I had been trying to draw the images in my book but I could never get the girl right. Every time I tried to sketch something of her, the image would turn fuzzy. But, when I tried the wolf, I could get every detail that I had in my head down on the paper. I close my book. The time was now 06:45am. No more trying to avoid it now. I started to shove my things in my bag and put on my boots. I walk back over to my desk and grab my sketch book and put it into my bag. I take a second and look in the mirror; I sometimes like what I saw. But other times I hated the way I looked, I have dark brown hair and hazel eyes and my figure was alright as long as I'm not in pink. I hate the colour pink.
I look over at the clock. The time was now 07:00am. If I didn't leave soon I was going to miss the bus. There came a small scrape on my door. I look over. Nanay my cat, I walk over to her a give her, a scratch behind the ear.
She looks up at me. I get up a grab her some of the cat food I had to keep in my room. My mum didn't like the idea of Nanay in the house. I pour her some in her dish; she walks up and starts to eat it.
"There, stay away from my mum's room. I'll be back soon" I say to her getting up and walking to the door. Then something catches sight in the corner of my eye. I turn. Nothing was there. I hated that because I could see something but it was gone by the time I tried to see it properly. I put in my music and walk down the steers and out the door. I just get to the bus stop before the bus.
.................................................................................................................................
I was the only student from my school that catches this bus. And it got really boring. I get on and sit at the far back of the bus and just watch the woods that we passed. I could sometimes picture images of people running after the bus weaving in through the trees. Then there was a spilt second of something white. Then it was gone. I press into the glass to see if I could see it again. Nope, nothing. I pulled out my sketch book and try sketching out the girl again. I realize my stop was coming up. I press button. The bus stopped just outside the school. I thank the driver a got off.
I walk into the school gates. I hated it here. I hate everyone at this school. Well, nearly everyone. I had Chase here. My only friend, he had ashy-blond hair, blue eyes and lightly tan skin.
Someone pulled my ear phone out. I was about to whip around a hit whoever it was, when arms wrapped round me lifting me into the air.
"O' my god put me down." I yelled in laughter. I knew who it was now. It was Chase.
He placed me back on solid ground. "Just thought on giving you a little bit of a hug" he smiles at me. "Also, turn your music down I was calling out your name and you didn't hear me." I swatted him in the stomach.
"A little hug, you lifted me of my feet. And also you should know me by now. I have my music up because of those skanks at the front, who always say something about what I'm wearing or what I look like." I say rolling up my iPod a putting it into my bag. "And, when I can't hear them, it will better that way and I don't cause a fight like last time." I say looking up at Chase.
