Shoyo woke up in the morning, ready for another day of training. It was vacation time, but Shoyo really wanted to play volleyball no matter what. Especially knowing that Kageyama would be there to send him tosses.
He rolled off his bed and quickly stood up, placing his shoes on. He smiled wide, and ran out the house, taking his bike, and riding out to the school. Kageyama, Tanaka, and Sugawara had all decided to train during the vacation.

Shoyo finally arrived, meeting up with everyone there. Sugawara waved a hello and gestured for Shoyo to come over.
"Put your shoes on, Hinata-Kun. Today, you're going to train without rest." Sugawara said, smiling wide. Shoyo didn't back down. He smiled back, excited for this day of training. He looked over at Kageyama, smiling excitedly. Kageyama immediately noticed him, but also quickly turned away. "Toss to me, Kageyama! Toss! Toss!" Shoyo said, jumping up in front of Kageyama. "Shut up, idiot! I already know that!" Kageyama yelled, with his usual glare. Shoyo flinched in response to the glare. "Now, now. Let's not fight." Sugawara said. Shoyo looked around the place and didn't see Tanaka anywhere. "Where is...Tanaka-Senpai?" he asked. Sugawara made a nervous smile. "His sister kind of pushed him to go somewhere with her during vacation." he explained. Shoyo laughed a bit. Kageyama nodded.
When...Shoyo played with Kageyama...he could feel his heart racing with excitement. But just looking at Kageyama, made his heart race. Maybe it was because he knew he would toss to him whenever they saw each other. That must be it. "Oi! Hinata! Don't space out already!" Kageyama ordered, seeming annoyed. Shoyo blinked twice and then nodded over at Kageyama.
...
After they finished their practice, Shoyo went out for a bike around the school and then went to Ukai's store. Unfortunately, he wasn't there. "Everybody really is gone." Shoyo thought, walking in and going into the food section. That's when he saw Kageyama walk by the window. Shoyo's heart started racing again. Fast.
"Kageyama!" Shoyo yelled, running after him. He turned to look at him. "What do you want?" he asked. Shoyo tilted his head, not knowing why he had called him. "You idiot! Say something!" he yelled. Wasn't this feeling like how it was in a manga?
In some of the manga that the girl's read at school, there would be a lot of romance and lovey-dovey stuff. They would feel their heart pound when seeing the guy they like and then...the other person would like them back. It wasn't the first time Shoyo had thought of this idea, but he thought it was impossible, but now...it seemed a bit more realistic seeing as how Kageyama wasn't going to send him tosses right now.
Kageyama sighed in annoyance. "If you're not going to tell me anything, then don't call me." he groaned.
Was it weird for one guy to like another guy?
Or...is it just not possible for two guys to go out or one to even LIKE another!?
By the time Shoyo looked back up, Kageyama was gone.
It couldn't be possible... "Augh! What am I thinking!?" Shoyo cried, gripping at his hair and stomping his feet on the ground.

That night, Shoyo thought about whether he liked Kageyama or he was just imagining things. Even now, just thinking about Kageyama made his heart race. It had to be it.
"Why am I thinking about this again!?" Shoyo cried, rolling around in his bed. A month ago, Shoyo was completely sure he liked Kageyama, but now he was trying to convince himself otherwise. He knew that Kageyama didn't share those same feelings. That same month, he was also very determined about confessing to him. But, apparently, Shoyo could only be determined when it came to volleyball. He sighed and laid on his side. "Tomorrow...! I have to tell him tomorrow!" Shoyo thought, clenching onto the sheets of his bed.
At around 9 o' clock, Shoyo got a message from Kageyama. "He never texts me..." Shoyo thought, confused, but excited. He grabbed his phone and looked at the message.
Kageyama: Are you okay?
He never asked if Shoyo was okay. Maybe it was because he was acting weird today.
Shoyo: Yeah. Why? ( ・◇・)?
Kageyama: You were acting weird at practice. Off track.
Shoyo: I was paying attention!!! (>д<)
Kageyama: Alright.
Was he ending the coversation? Shoyo couldn't tell.
Shoyo: Were you worried about me?
That sounded suggestive... "Wha!! He's going to tell that I-"
Kageyama: No.
Shoyo: Do you...have to go?
Kageyama: No.
Shoyo: Then let's talk!(∩_∩)
Shoyo suddenly got a phone call. It was Kageyama. "Ah...what is it...?" Shoyo asked. "You said you wanted to talk. So talk." he said. Was Kageyama trying to be nice? "You're acting weird, Kageyama!" Shoyo yelled. "EHHH!? I'M ASKING YOU BECAUSE I DON'T NEED YOU OFF TRACK! SO JUST SPILL IT!" Kageyama argued. So that was the reason. "Um...have you ever liked someone, Kageyama?" Shoyo asked, in a very low, whispering tone. Shoyo squirmed, waiting for Kageyama's response. "You like someone?" he asked. Shoyo blushed heavily. "S-sort of..." he replied.
"From school?"
"Yeah...in the volleyball team actually..."
"You like Shimizu-Senpai?"
WAH! Why did I say the volleyball team specifically!? Now he's definitely going to know if I say it isn't Shimizu-Senpai!!!
"I HAVE TO GO TO BED!" Shoyo yelled. If Kageyama found out, what would he say? Would he avoid him? All those thoughts roamed around Shoyo's head. He suddenly jumped up when he got another message from Kageyama.
Kageyama: Are you gay...?
Shoyo's eyes shot wide. He hadn't thought of that. Liking Kageyama...meant he...
He blushed a dark red. Wait! That meant...Kageyama found out he liked one of the guys from the volleyball team! How was he going to face Kageyama now!? I shouldn't have said any of that!!! Wahh!! What am I going to do!?
Shoyo couldn't believe himself.
"What if he doesn't want to send tosses to me either...?"
