The Owl House Oneshots

7- Willow Park x reader

"Do you really think this is a smart plan?" You ask Amity as she brushes your hair.

"It has to be. Luz came up with it." Amity responds.

"Eh, ok. I trust you. Now, where is Luz? She promised us she would be here."

At that very moment, the door bursts open and in steps Luz, Gus, and the Owl Lady. Luz's arms are full of clothes, Gus has a few flowers, and Eda has a bag of... something.

"The date squad has arrived!" Luz shouts with a grin. "Em let us in through the window in her room." She rushes over to the bed, dropping the clothes on it and kissing Amity on the cheek. "Hi, Sweetpotato."

Amity blushes tomato-red. "Hi."

Luz waves Gus and Eda over and signals for them to drop their things. Gus puts the flowers next to Amity, while Eda leans against the wall and opens the bag. She grins and reaches her hand in, coming back up with a few chocolates. She throws a chocolate at you and you catch it with a smile. "Thanks, Eda!"

"Sure thing, kid." Eda responds, popping a chocolate into her mouth and throwing one at each of the other young witches.

Luz looks over at your hair and shoots a thumbs-up at Amity. Amity slightly ruffles it and stands. "Done!"

Gus conjures an illusion mirror in front of you, and you turn your head side to side, admiring Amity's talent.

If you have short hair like Luz, imagine Luz's Grom Fright hair. If you have shoulder-length like Amity (and me!), imagine one loose braid on each side that connect in the back and the rest is wavy. If you have long hair, imagine a loose braid on each side that go back into a classy bun (kinda like Viney's hair but with braids). These are all just suggestions obviously, imagine whatever you want. These are just prompts :)

"I love it, Am. Thank you!" You say gratefully, turning to look at your friend.

"Any time."

Luz walks over and picks up a few different outfits. "Now, which one do you want?"

Feel free to imagine whatever outfit you want. I'm not even gonna give you a prompt because I have no idea what to wear to ask someone out. I asked my now-partner out on a school bus. So I'm no example. But I guess I did alright!

You consider each outfit Luz has put together and point to your favorite. "This one! It's super cool, and I think Willow would love it too."

"I know Willow," Gus remarks, "She would be so jealous of that outfit." He sends you a double thumbs-up and a smile.

You look around at your friends with the biggest grin on your face. "Thanks for all the help, guys. I couldn't have done this without you."

"Done what?" Luz asks. "You haven't even asked her out yet!"

"Oh, right. Now comes the hard part. Everyone ready?"

"Ready!" The kids all answer.

"I dunno what to do!" Eda says at the same time.

Total "buff brains!" and "haha...yeah!" vibes here ;)

A Little While Later

"Ok, does everyone know the plan?" Amity asks the group authoritatively as you all huddle together. You had filled Eda in earlier, so she knows the deal.

"You get Willow out here." Gus answers.

"Eda and I activate a ton of light glyphs along the path in the woods for Willow to follow." Luz responds.

"Goops casts illusions of falling flower petals." Eda remarks.

"And I wait at the end of the path to give her Gus's flowers and ask her to go out with me." You finish.

"Let's do this." Amity whispers. "Date squad, move out!"

Everyone goes to their designated positions along the path in the woods and Amity walks up to Willow's front door and knocks.

Later, At The End of the Path

You stand at the end of the path, face aglow from the light glyphs Eda and Luz lit as Willow walked. You hold the flowers Gus bought in your hands, and you stare down the path in anticipation.

You see movement coming from the path and squint to see what's going on. Faintly, you can spot Willow walking toward you, gazing around at the light glyphs and illusions of flower petals.

You find yourself immediately grinning and blushing, and you try to pull yourself together before Willow sees you.

You see her head turn and her eyes meet yours, her face one of complete surprise. You wave awkwardly and Willow returns your wave just as awkwardly. She picks up her pace and is in front of you within a matter of minutes.

Oh my Titan. She looks so pretty!  You think, clearing your throat and shuffling your feet.

"Hey, Y/N. What is all this?" Willow asks, looking around again.

"I've had something I wanted to tell you for a long time, Willow." You begin. You hand her the flowers, causing her to smile and slightly blush. "I... really like you. Like, a lot. And it's ok if you don't like me back, but I just wanted to tell you. And the gang decided to help me out a bit."

"Oh. Wow! I, uh... ok. Um, this is amazing." Willow stutters. "I like you too! A lot!"

"R-really?"

"Yeah!"

You smile brightly. "No way!"

"Yes way!"

"Can I... can I kiss you?"

"Of course, Y/N."

You lean in, putting one hand on Willow's waist and the other behind her head. She leans into you, wrapping an arm around your waist, and connects your lips gently.

When you pull apart, you smile at each other and give each other a hug.

"So..." Willow starts, "Does this mean we're dating?"

"If you wanna." You respond.

"Yes!" Willow shouts eagerly.

"Then yeah!"

"I really like you, Y/N."

"I really like you too, Willow."
