The Arabic meaning of hijab is veil, barrier or partition.
So my sisters, being a hijabi means we want to place a barrier between ourselves and the world. It's not only physical but mental, emotional, and social.
It's a physical reminder for us all that we can't participate or fall into immodest acts anymore.
It's a simple way to explain why you can't hug anymore, or shake anymore.
Why you can't place yourself in a tempting position with the opposite sex.
Tempting positions include but are not excluded to:
Being in rooms alone with another male and so on.
It's also a reminder that our speech should be modest too. We can't say immodest things with a hijab on.
So my sisters let's take a step further together in being modest for God and for ourselves.

PS- hijabi sounds so cute and sweet too. Lol🙃😊
