Chapter 1

Merlin sat there crying his heart out while holding a lifeless body which belonged to the King Of Camelot

The Great Dragon Kilgharrah wings begins to flutter as he makes his way down to the young warlock

"Kilgharrah, I cannot lose him! I refuse..." he looks into the Great Dragons Gem like eyes with desperation

"I warned you young warlock but you did not heed my words"

Merlin hugged Arthur

"However young warlock"

"However?" Merlin looked up once again tears still running down his defined face

"There is a solution that lies, in a force greater than you or I can understand and once again find the person Arthur truly loves and a kiss will awaken him"

"But Guinevere is all the way at the castle...waiting"

"Yes young warlock but she is not the one he truly loves it may have been before as his heart wavered then"

"Then who" he looks again even more desperate

"You, are Arthur's true love"

"..." Merlin held Arthur

"Whether you believe me or not is your choice, I will be leaving now and you must hurry his time is ticking" his wings begins to move as he flies off

"Arthur if you can hear me, your a prat" he leans down and kisses Arthur

Merlin looked over Arthur's condition

It seems it actually worked

The colour was returning to Arthurs face!?

"Haha!" Merlin cried tears of joy

'But wait...if it was because of the true love kiss? Arthur likes me!?' He froze as he felt Arthur move

"Merlin...I thought I was a goner..." he smiled weakly "how did you manage to release Mordreds wrath"

"By magic of course" he turned his head, red ears appearing

"Thanks Merlin"

"It's nothing, now then shall we head back to Camelot together" Merlin smiles

"Yes of course we need to find out who's survived"

"Leave that to me" Merlin's eyes shone gold as he Incanted in ancient language

Arthur looked mesmerised by such

Merlin looked around and some of the bodies had aura behind the trees

"Come my king, its seems they have grouped near the border" Merlin puts Arthur's arm around his neck and they walk

*the bushes russel*

The soldiers get into stance

"Hey you guys" Merlin smiles

"Merlin!" Gwaine said relieved as he ran towards Merlin

"and our King lives!" The soldiers cheer putting their swords in the air

"My Soldiers who fought in this war those who live, shall live on for those who died for Camelot and will be remembered, now let's head home to our friends and Families"

"YES OUR KING!" the Soldiers shouted in unison

After regrouping the injured they had made there way to Camelot
