It has been a week since the couple returned from the Land of Steam. A lot of things have happened. Eversince their return, Meera and Tobirama have dedicated themselves to research the drug to find out anything about its contents. The blood samples of those who took the injection were also taken for research.

With the help of the Yamanaka clan, they were able to get a little information on the current problem from the other thugs. The dry ice user was a Saiga clan member. It was destroyed in fear of them siding with the Senju almost 25 years ago. Apparantly the guy named Ritsu Saiga, who attacked them was the only survivor.

He wanted revenge so he gathered a bunch of rogues and planned the attack. But they didnt get any information on the injection they used. Izuna was sent out to investigate any leads on this matter.

It was just like Meera thought, such power doesnt come without risk. The internal organs of those who took the drugs were damaged severely. They dont have long. Their chakra system was almost entirely damaged. It was no use trying to heal them. This cant go on. They need to find the source of this drug and stop it immediately.

Meera brought 2 cups of tea and saw Tobirama look like a ghost. Both of them have been working day and night to find out about the drug. The sample wasnt enough to find a lot.

"You should go home and get some sleep Tobi." Meera adviced. "I cant believe you took on 7 of those who had such strength. Elder brother told me that the Saiga took the injection and was almost as strong as him. How did you manage to take 7 of them out?" The Senju asked.

"They were pretty weak to begin with. The chakra boost they got was kinda scary and caught me off guard but it was nothing I couldnt handle. Whereas Ritsu Saiga was pretty strong even without the drug. His chakra was powerful. So it became dangerous when he took the drug." Meera explained.

Tobirama stood up and stretched a bit. "You definitely need a shower and some rest. We have been at this for a week and still couldnt find any useful lead. Go get some rest Tobi." Meera said earning a heavy sigh. "You are right. I will talk to elder brother and go get some rest." He said and left.

Meera took a seat and went through all the findings that was scribbled in a scroll when she heard a knock. It was a familiar chakra. Madara came in with lunch in his hand. "Aww.. is that for me Daiku? Were you worried?" Meera asked teasingly making him roll his eyes.

"I am not Daiku you dumbass. And no, Hiroshi asked me to give you this." He said placing the lunch near her. Meera chuckled. "Thank you!". He looked around the place which looked like a complete mess. "Where is Tobirama?" He asked. "I send him away to get some rest. Any news from Izuna?" Meera asked. "No. Not yet." He replied.

Something suddenly caught her eye. Madara saw Meera doing something with all the equipments and sample. He noticed her eyes widen in shock. "What is it? Found anything?" Madara asked curiously. "It is blood!" Meera whispered in shock. "Blood?" Madara asked confused.

"I found traces of someone's blood and its not the blood of anyone that was injected." She said. "What does that supposed to mean?" He asked still not understanding. "It means that they used someone's blood to create this drug. A blood which has the ability to bring such a drastic boost to one's chakra enough to damage their chakra network completely." She said still in shock if such a thing is possible.

Madara took in her words thinking carefully which Meera noticed. "Does that ring a bell to you?" She asked. "I have just heard stories about the clan. It was a clan known to have a kekkei genkai of blood. Their blood is so special that gives chakra boost to anyone who takes even a single drop. But the clan was said to be destroyed years ago. I dont know much details about the clan." He explained.
