Third person POV

Jungkook sighed for who knows what time it was. He was growing increasingly frustrated. Don't get him wrong, he absolutely loves his job, but currently, he tried his best not to kill someone. The vocal line tried to record their new song Zero O'Clock but the other three kept messing around. Usually, he wouldn't mind this. Hell, he loves messing around himself, but this time he was just frustrated. He'd been at the company nearly all day recording his parts and practicing choreography (with and without the group). It was currently 10:30 PM, and he still had the adlibs and harmonizations to do which usually took him another two hours at least.

"Jimin, focus," their producer demanded lightly.

Jungkook could tell the producer was also trying not to show his frustration. They were so close to finishing the recordings; however, the final parts Jimin could not get because Taehyung and Jin kept distracting him with their silly antics.

"HYUNGS! Can you please stop?" Jungkook snapped, rubbing his eyes.

"Yah! Don't yell at us. We're older," Jin replied halfheartedly. "We're just having a fun time."

"You keep distracting Jimin-hyung," Jungkook gritted his teeth.

"Not our fault we're so funny," Taehyung laughed.

Jimin broke into another fit of giggles as Taehyung and Jin full-on laughed.

"That's it! We're finishing this next week," their producer slammed the table with a groan. "Clearly, we're not getting anywhere. Jungkook, can you stay back and record the rest of your parts and a few harmonies?"

Jungkook nodded, stiffly. Jimin left the recording booth, still giggling.

"You do realize you put us behind in recording?" Jungkook remarked, looking at the producer who nodded in agreement.

"It's fine, Jungkookie," Taehyung shrugged as he packed his stuff and slightly messed around with Jimin.

Jungkook ran a frustrated hand through his hair, "No, it's not! The album is supposed to be released in two weeks and I don't even have all my parts recorded yet!"

"You'll be fine, Jungkook-ah," Jin told him. "It's really not that big of a deal. We'll finish them in time. We always do."

The producer clenched his jaw as he knew what Jungkook meant when he didn't record all of his parts for their songs yet. The three waved JK off and left the studio laughing like they didn't just make Jungkook's work harder.

Jungkook groaned, his face in his hands, "Why do they never understand?"

"I'm sorry, Jungkook-ah," the producer said sincerely. "Are you ready to actually get something done? Hopefully, we'll be done before midnight."

"Yeah, let's get it over with."

Jungkook continued his grind. Dance, vocals, songwriting, gym, hobbies, repeat. He hardly had time to sleep sometimes as he constantly had new vocal arrangements for his own work and BTS. Plus, he wanted to get better at songwriting, so he spent a lot of time working on his own solo stuff. Along with the fact he always had other things he needed and wanted to work on.

Jungkook had so many roles in the group. He was the main vocalist, center, face of the group, lead dancer, and sub-rapper, and was on his way to being a frequent producer, composer, and songwriter. He never realized the number of roles he had until the members, recently, started waving off his time spent at the HYBE. While his hyungs got to leave early from recording or practices, he was told to stay behind to talk about adlibs, vocal arrangements, and harmonies for basically any song they were working on. For practices, the choreographer always asked him to stay an hour longer to work on new material since he was the center of the group. It's become a routine for him. Sometimes the rap line would stay longer in their own studios to work on new things. Even then, though, Jungkook had the record for the most time spent at the studio as of late. A single day consisted of nearly twelve hours of studio or practice time. The rest of the time was him doing everything else he wanted which mostly consisted of spending time in his own personal studio. Hell, he even set up a sleeping area in his studio. The most sleep he was getting was five hours. No point in going to dorms only to come back to the company hours later.
