Third POV

Previously...

"Oh, I don't know, you tell me why you didn't notice," Bang demanded, crossing his arms.

The other two did the same, clearly looking for answers.

Present:

"Don't give us a bullshit excuse about stress, exhaustion, and the comeback because that's no excuse," Sejin warned.

"You all know the comeback is especially when you should be looking out for each other," Sungdeuk added.

The members started to look guilty remembering what was said in the dance room and recording studio with Jungkook. Hoseok just looked down, saddened he never fully realized.

"We have no excuse..." Namjoon, assuming the lead role as usual, replied, ashamed.

"We didn't think so," Bang PD tsk-ed with a head shake in obvious disappointment.

"How could you?" Sejin scolded. "We've told you to look out for one another!"

The hyungs bowed their heads in shame.

"I guess we were all just angry since Jungkook kept getting all the compliments when we did work," Taehyung admitted quietly.

"It got a little frustrating because we were trying but only Jungkook got the recognition," Yoongi also admitted, looking at the floor.

The three sighed, understanding where they were coming from.

"I understand. That doesn't dismiss the behavior you gave your maknae, though," Bang PD conceded.

Sungdeuk nodded, "He may have a lot of roles and get lots of recognition compared to all of you but he doesn't deserve mistreatment for it."

"You're right... no amount of excuses justify our behavior," Jimin sighed, eyes glistening with unshed tears.

"Agreed," Jin nodded, also looking ready to cry.

"We are extremely disappointed at this news," Sejin voiced sternly. "As a team, you are expected to act as such. The fact the staff was the ones who told us how many hours he worked goes to show how much you ignored and took him for granted."

The hyungs looked down, feeling even more guilt.

"The staff even told us they had to remind him to eat," Bang PD announced with a shake of the head. "And that he began sleeping at his personal studio."

The hyungs once again shared a look. A few had shed tears while Hoseok was even more saddened by the news. He couldn't believe he never noticed.

"We have to apologize," Namjoon concluded after some silence.

The three nodded in agreement to Namjoon's statement.

"You better. In fact, it's expected of you," their manager scoffed. "That's the least you can do."

"Even then, that probably won't cover how sorry we are," Taehyung mumbled.

The hyungs agreed. Hoseok looked angry, and rightfully so.

This never would've happened if I just noticed sooner, Hobi thought bitterly. And the members. Why couldn't they just shut up? They knew how much influence they have on him.
