~this chapter is a slight vent chapter for me

Jungkook finally snaps and reveals all the frustrations he's had in his position and the hurt he had towards the members saying those things. For once, it was Jungkook struggling... not the hyungs... and it only made them feel guiltier than before. It took him over a decade to reveal such things, but they couldn't even help him anymore... cause he already knows how to cope with it.

Third POV

It was now the middle of November. Jungkook was still not back yet. The members were absolutely miserable. The staff members were still harsher than usual on them, Hobi included. Everyone was incredibly pissed off that the members said those things to the maknae, and the members couldn't blame them. How could they speak such awful things to the member that did nothing but work hard on his craft? The members spent their days working on everything they could while Jungkook was absent. Every now and then, Yoongi or Namjoon would forget Jungkook wasn't available.

Namjoon was working on some lyrics while Yoongi was working on the production.

"I'm not sure how this part should sound," Namjoon groaned. "It doesn't sound right whenever I put it to the beat."

"Ask JK to do it," Yoongi replied absentmindedly as he played around on the keyboard. "He'd know what to do."

Whenever anyone had trouble figuring songs out, whether production or lyrics, they always asked Jungkook. He had a musically talented ear to hear multiple different versions of a song without it fully being done.

"Yoongi-hyung, he's not here, remember?"

"Fuck, that's right..." Yoongi shook his head. "Sorry, habit."

"I know, hyung."

The other vocalists were now not only missing him in training, but they were also missing hanging out with him. Taehyung was dying for an Overwatch match. Jimin claimed no one cuddled better than Jungkook. Seokjin wanted someone to laugh at all his stupid jokes and bicker with him (everyone liked bickering with the oldest, but no one did it better than JK).

Jungkook was also starting to miss his hyungs. Hoseok started texting him a little more in mid-October, giving him minor updates on how the hyungs were doing. It mostly consisted of Hobi telling Kook why they missed him that week. Sometimes vocals didn't go well. Sometimes choreography looked wrong since he wasn't there. Sometimes productions didn't fit the aesthetic of the song, but they didn't know how to fix it. It was little things like that which made the hyungs miss him even more.

The maknae had finished up his time in America. He felt a lot more confident in his English. He even explored his love for art a little more while he was there; however, all good things must come to an end. He decided toward the end of November it was time to face the wind.

Jungkook texted Sejin and Bang PD around six-thirty AM to let them know he landed back in Seoul. They were the ones to pick the maknae up.

"Jungkook-ah!" Sejin grinned as he hugged the said man. "We missed you!"

Jungkook laughed, "So I've heard."

"I love your hyungs, but god... no one does it like you," Bang added with a chuckle.

The maknae hugged their CEO as well. After picking up his luggage, the three walked out of the airport to the company car. The manager and CEO caught him up on everything that needed to get done. Frankly, the maknae was surprised at how much needed to be worked on. He had done basically all his parts for the group songs except Black Swan. He supposed they wanted to make some adjustments to the arrangements or perhaps change up the techniques used. He guessed choreography was harder because he was the center which sometimes meant spacing was based on where he was. Jungkook often helped Hobi with choreography too. He wasn't surprised to hear they were slightly behind on that.
