-3rd Person POV-

All the students and their teacher made their way to the auditorium where the play was about to performed. The teacher ushering her kids in to pick a seat within the middle section, making sure they know to sit next to their partner. The tension seemed to lessen between Chris and Lyla, hands interlocked as Chris used his thumb to rhythmically rub her's.

Phones were silenced per request from the play staff, lights dimmed to create the ambiance in the audience, and a spotlight centered the curtain.

Hani and Hyunjin hadn't spoken to each other until the day of the zoo trip. They lightly converted about the different animals, before they started to talk about their heart breaks. Hani confessed the only reasoning for her behavior towards Lyla was because she envied her. Hani had always been a bit competitive. Her upbringing wasn't exactly as smooth as she had said.

She always though Lyla was smarter, prettier, and kinder. Hani couldn't count how many times Lyla never let her oversleep. It made her feel bad because if the situation were to be reversed, she thought about how she wouldn't have done the same, and Lyla knew that. But continued to do so.

Hyunjin told Hani about how worried Lyla was when Woojin captured her. Lyla felt guilty even after it was all over, it all happened because of her. Woojin did it all to have her. He hurt multiple people. Hani smiled, thanking Hyunjin for telling her that. She wanted to fix this if she could. Not only did Lyla care about her, she saved her life, all of their lives. She couldn't let her jealousy continue to let her treat Lyla like she had any longer.

The play was revealed to be non other than, Romeo and Juliet, the most well known tragic love story. "Gods, they were just two young children who met once and 'fell in love', and didn't care what happened and who died for their so called 3 day romance. Then they killed themselves in the most stupid way possible."

Chris turned to Lyla. "Well that's one way to put it." He laughed softly. "Who would you suppose be the perfect tragic love story?"

"Orpheus and Eurydice. Have you ever heard of them?"

"No I haven't, why don't you tell me about it?" He turned his attention to her, making her smile softly.

"It's Greek Mythologies most tragic love story. It's about the son of Apollo, Orpheus falling in love at first site with a nymph, Eurydice. They got married but the priest foretold their short marriage. As fate told, Eurydice was bitten by a snake, and died in his arms. He planned to travel to the underworld and confront Hades to let him leave with his wife. See being the son of Apollo he had the gift of music and could trance people with his lyre. The gatekeeper would not allow him to enter as he was still alive, so he lulled him with a song and was able to get past the gates. He then did the same with Cerberus, the three headed guard dog, and then he confront Hades and Persephone, where he sang the most beautiful tragic love song about losing the love of his life. They were so saddened by his loss so they allowed Eurydice to leave the underworld behind him, but only if he did not look back at her while her soul left the gates or everything would be reversed and she would be left in the underworld. As he was told her led her out of the underworld, but worried he did not hear her footsteps, and thinking that he was fooled by Hades, he turned around to look. He saw Eurydice sink back into the portal, back into the underworld, as he was warned. He tried to get back in the gates but he wasn't allowed in alive once, let alone a second time. So he left the gates heartbroken because he would never see his love in that life."

Chris felt a tug at his heart hearing this story. All he could think was what it would be like if he lost Lyla. That truly was a tragedy, way more sad than Romeo and Juliet. "Wow... that's really sad."
