I step inside my room and close the door behind me slowly. Once it's completely shut, I squeal like a little girl at a One Direction concert. I had literally just came back from a date with Taylor Abbot. I throw my self onto my bed and stare at the ceiling, pinching myself to make sure it wasn't a dream. I still couldn't get through my head the fact that I had come back from cute café date with the one and only Taylor Abbot. God, he was so cute.
I hear my phone buzz. The bright screen said: 'Text from Joey'. I unlock my phone to see what she wrote.
"hey, how was your date with Taylor?" I could feel my cheeks heating up, but Joey couldn't.
"meh. he was ok..." I text back. I didn't want to sound desperate.
"ok?! becca, he was ur life in seveth grade" I smiled even more like a dork when it came to this.
"ok ok ok so maybe it went amazing and I wanted to kiss him but I didn't" was my response. I just had to.
"you should have. it wouldn't be out of the blue, u have liked each other for a while" I thought about this for a second. It was true. I remember the minute I got cell service, I got a text from Joey saying how Taylor was going to ask me out and how he liked me a lot. just thinking about this made my cheeks warm up.
"u really think so?" I ask, but I think I already know the answer.
"i know so" was Joey's concluding statement for that night and I go to bed, smiling like a dork.
I wake up the next morning and get ready for the weekend ahead of me. As I'm eating breakfast, I hear a ring from the door bell. I get up from the table and go and see who it is. Without a doubt, Taylor Abbot was standing outside me door.
"Well hello there, Taylor Abbot," I say as I open the door.
"Lovely to see you, Miss Becca, on this beautiful autumn day," he says while motioning to the sky then pretending to tip a hat. He was quite the charmer when it came to impressing girls.
"And what means have you come here today for, Taylor Abbot,"
"Myself, being the gentleman I am, happens to be offering my self as chauffer for today and today only. If you would come this way," He says ushering me to his big red truck.
"Hold on let me get my things," I say as I quickly rush inside to scoop up my phone and a purse to put it in. I come outside and see he has opened the passenger door and is waiting to help me inside. He takes my hand and guides me into the seat.
"Thank you, Taylor Abbot," I say, trying to hold back laughter.
"I cannot seem to understand what you find so funny, Miss Becca?" he says, jokingly. "Nothing, nothing," I say, smiling.
As Taylor starts the car and gets going, I ask him "What's the plan for today, Taylor Abbot?"
"Well, I was thinking we go and grab a coffee, take a stroll in the park and talk, then I'll drop you back off at home and you'll be all good," He says while occasionally looking over me to make sure I'm listening.
"Okay," I say. It has only been a week back in the states and I've already been on two dates with the one and only Taylor Abbot. I think this is going to be a wonderful senior year.
