Taylor Abbot.

Oh my God.

I cannot wrap my head around the idea that he has willingly spending time with me. He was no longer the short and cute kid with huge glasses, but the tall and muscular teen (with a extremely nice jawline, I must add). But of all the people he could have dated or could be spending time with he chose me! And I just can't process that.

My phone buzzed on my night stand because Joey had just sent me a text. "Did he kiss you?" I blush intensely, but she doesn't know that.

"No..." was my response.

"Awe come on. U guys were meant to kiss by now!"

"It's only the second date. If you would even call it that."

"Ugh. U have to kiss him. Like tomorrow."

"I'm wouldn't bet anything on that." was my concluding text as I shut down my phone and put it on charge. I snuggled into bed thinking about kissing Taylor Abbot and that helped me sleep like a baby.

I woke up the next day and got ready for the new school week ahead of me. My brother yelled from down the stairs, "Becca, lets go! You have to take me to band early!" I had completely forgotten he had to get to his Elementary school early on Monday mornings.

"Coming!" I shouted down the stairs as I fixed my hair and grabbed my backpack. I hurried out the door and hopped into my car with my little brother right behind me. I did a quick drop off outside of his school and watched him run inside his classroom.

"Bye Becca!" He shouted just before he stepped through the door.

"Bye!" I called back, but I doubt he heard me.

I drove to my high school and parked pretty far away from the entrance. Since it was a late start, I had some time to gather my belongings and fix my hair. As I was reapplying my lip gloss, I heard the passenger seat door open. I turned around to see that it was Taylor Abbot, but I couldn't say anything because before I knew it, his mouth was firmly planted on mine.

At first, I was terrified. I just sat there, like a deer in a head light, but then I practically melted into him. Since my car roof was high up and I didn't weigh much, he managed to pick me up and put me on his lap as we continued to kiss. Thank God for tinted windows. His hands went up and down my lower back as I managed to get a good grasp of the back of his neck. I run my hands through his hair and he moves his hands up my side. I stopped and smiled and he smiled, too, as we pressed our foreheads together.

"So," I say, nearly breathless, "How much does Joey owe you?"

"This wasn't a bet. I just have really, really like you, Becca," I could feel my heart almost beat out of my chest.

"It wasn't?" I ask.

"No, I've just waited so long to do that," was his answer.
