"Y-You told me that you love me, you promise me that we would be together forever." The woman says as she stands in front of her Ex-lover with nothing but anger in her voice mixing with passions in her eyes that she kept for twenty-three years. "But instead...y-you choose to leave me" Tears started welling up in her eyes.

"Please just lis-"

"Shut up!" she shouted pointing her gun straight towards the man as he quickly did as told to prevent himself from getting shot.

"You could've stayed here and finish school with me and then we were supposed to get marry and have kids together! But oh no" She laughs wickedly, "Little Mr. smart ass here" Her hand shake uncontrollably which made the man feel more terrified and also frustrated. Not toward the woman who used to be his first love, he's angry at himself for not realizing after leaving her for all those years hurt her to the point that her mind became twisted that she wants revenge.

As much as he wants to blame himself and wished that things were different, he knew that he has to think of a way to get out of his house alive and call for help. He's relief that at a time like this his daughter and his wife are at the hotel. Even though he hates the fact that his two precious girls that he cared for is mad at him, he rather they stayed alive hating him instead of bury to the ground.

"Choose to leave our friends and left me just so he can start a perfect life with another bitch carrying his child while I was here all alone and" she stops talking, couldn't finish what she wanted to say because the memories of her past with loneliness, depression, despair that she had to dealt with for years is painful. Her smile faded but the anger in her eyes remains the same, wanting to shoot her lover for making her feel this way. The man thought about jumping out of his seat to grab the gun but instead, he remained calm with pleading eyes.

"I-I didn't know that I hurt you this much sweetheart" He said in a shaky voice, trying to let her guard down by sweet talking to her.

"Let's get marry." He suggested with a straight face while his heart beating out of anxiety but knew this might be the only way to get a hold of the gun.

The woman stares at him with glossy eyes, holding a grip on her gun.

"Do not mess with me you bastard! You have lied to me once and I'll be damned to believe anything you say no-"

She stops as the man slowly stands up from the couch with his hands up. The woman took a step back, assumed that he was planning to take her gun so she pointed straight towards his chest in case if he was plotting something. To her surprised, he didn't run or tried to reach for the weapon. He stayed where he is with his hands up staring at his ex with a serious look which the woman couldn't tell if he's up to something or maybe taking her feelings serious.

"My love...I've never realized that me leaving you after all those years has affected you this much for you to hate me. I made a terrible mistake of marrying the wrong person when it should've been you peaches." He said, calling his ex by her nickname that he came up on their first date.

The woman loosen her grip on the gun, looking at her lover surprised that he remembers and hasn't heard it since the last time she saw him. "Let's just elope tonight. W-We can start a fresh new life just the three of us. We'll be one big happy family." He suggested with a force smiled, reaching his left hand out slowly for the gun while leaving his other hand up.
