David's POV

I stare outside Night city as I wonder when I am gonna receive my next gig. Seeing that I've been waiting for a few hours now, I even bothered Y/N and Lucy about it already

Flashback

Y/N's POV

"Y/N, Need a 2 Vodka for these ladies" Mateo says to me as I nod screaming 'coming right up!' as I grab 2 Vodka from the shelf as I head over at the counter giving it to two ladies. Noticing there are a lot of people I sighed knowing today will be a busy day

I then noticed a Holo party call on my eyes as I see David's name on it I looked at Mateo "Hey Mat, Got a call. Will be right back" as I said that he gave me a nod

I then answered the call as I hear Lucy talking

"No, You should ask Maine about it" She says making me confused as both of them not realizing I'm in the call

"What's up? New gig coming up? If there is, I can't right now ;(" I said over the Holo as I hear Lucy sigh

"David here, just wants to know if there are any gig coming up just like you asked" I facepalmed at this knowing I got distracted over this

"My bad.. ^^;;" I heard David say

"Tsk! Seriously? I'm working right now you gonk. I thought this is gonna be an important gig update or some shit" I told David over the Holo "Lots of people at Lizzie's right now I need to go. And David, stop worrying about gigs so much. Live a little" I said as I hung up the Holo

David's POV

"I know she says live a little... But, What the fuck am I suppose to do?" I said to myself, While contemplating whether to call Maine or not.

I stood at the window.. Staring at night city.. Nothing to do.. "Fuck it" I told myself as I started to call Maine

I waited as it rang a lot. 'He's not gonna answer it' I told myself in my head just as I said I hear Maine's voice

"David, Bad timing right now kid" He says which made me question on what the hell he's doing. I then shake my head remembering why I called him

"I called Y/N and Lucy and they told me to call you, Cause I haven't heard anything yet" I told him which made him groan

"Said I'd call you myself if any gig popped up" He told me making me sigh

"You sure there's nothing? Still nada? I'll take whatever ya got" I told him as I hear him groan and moan..?

"Stop being desperate, Rookie. What happened to the eddies I gave you? Blow it all up already?" He scolds me then questions me

"No, I don't mean eddies" I told him

"Huh?" He grunts

"Y'know, Learning - Learning the ropes. You said you can't be my crutches, Said yourself 'member?" I said to him

"Alright, Fine. Tomorrow meet up with aldo at his garage, Got package there" He says then closing the Holo

'Well, Might as well take a rest now' I thought to myself just then I received a message from Y/N

"Yo Gonk- I mean Davy, About earlier.. Wasn't mad at ya, Just tired of my job lately so, Might've seem like I was mad at you. And about you living a little - I really mean it.. I'm tired of seeing new crewmates flatline so fast due to them being such a gonk and ignorant.
