David's POV

I wake up from the sound of people speaking as I noticed I was strapped on stretcher

"How bad is it?" I hear Lucy's voice asking a person as I hear them say

"Rookie Mistake, Hasn't taken any precautions since installing that implant. And also which Immunosuppressant is he on?"

'Immunosuppressant?' I thought to myself thinking on what the hell that is

"And is he insured?" They asked Lucy

Which Lucy turned her head and said "Don't know, Doesn't look he would be"

"Y'know any family or guardian I could call for him?" Asking too much questions I groaned

"I told you I don't know, Maybe parents I guess" Lucy replied as I remembered my mom 'Parents...' As Lucy continued "He used to go to the Academy"

"Arasaka? No wonder he could afford this." Pointing at my implant "Hold on a sec..."

I then looked at Lucy at the corner of my eyes as she notice me awake staring back at me

"So? How are you feeling? And Just to let you know you made Y/N Worried after that little pass out stunt you did" She asked me with a bit of concern in her voice 'Y/N...' I looked around to find her 'Where is she?' I asked myself but it seems Lucy knows what I was doing "She's Couldn't come. Something came up" I sighed 'Worried but couldn't come'

I then stared at the ceiling as I groaned out "I feel like I'm gonna be sick"

"Which Immunosuppressant do you take?" That word again

"What even is that? Immuno.. Whatever that is"

As I said that Lucy laughed so loud "Seriously, You psycho. Y/N would be the one to zero you right now if she heard this" Which made me laugh a bit 'I am so screwed' I thought to myself

I then felt the car drove faster which I then look at Lucy who were now staring outside

"We drove past the..." She cuts what she was saying as I hear a gun cocking near me "Oh my..."

'Yea "Oh My" Indeed There's a fucking gun on my head right now!' I screamed in my head

"Listen Choom" I hear the medic talking "The kid's got an implant that'll fetch us nice price. So just sit back, relax and--"

As Lucy cuts her off "What? Did you cut a deal with a scav or something?" Which made them pissed off aiming the gun at Lucy

"You better sit back or I'll take your chromes too" Making Lucy sigh as I stared at Lucy she smirked at me

"Sorry, David. Looks like your cut is back to 20" As she said that I saw her kicking the stretcher which made me flinch but it also manage to hit the medic as Lucy then opened the door as she jumped above me and kicking us off the Ambulance

As we landed on the road Lucy steered my stretcher to avoid hitting the cars as I vomit on my ventilator mask 'I'm gonna die'

After Lucy stepped on the brakes by stepping on the ground the stretcher stopped rolling as I groaned in disgust smelling my vomit near my face

"Oh? You ain't dying, are you?" She asked me

"Ripper..." I called out

"Huh?" I felt her getting close to me as I repeated what I said

"Ripper.. Take me to doc's clinic.. Please" Which made Lucy sigh

"I swear if Y/N's the one with you right now.." She snickered as she started pushing the stretcher "You would be flatlined by now" as I hear her completely laughing now "I bet she would be kicking your face after taking you to a ripper"
