"Say Aaaaahhhhh." Momma crooned, spooning cheesy scrambled egg into my mouth. This was the first real breakfast I'd had in so long. Well if you don't count the...baby food. "Mmm nummy isn't it?" She asked patting her stomach.
"Uuummmmsss!" I gurgled. Well that didn't come out right.
"That's right! Good boy!" She praised. Momma clapped her hands. In turn I did the same.
"You're such a smart cookie." Papi cooed, coming over to pat my head. He set one plate of blueberry pancakes in front of Momma and a slightly smaller portion for me.
"Oh that's right, you haven't had your Papi's cooking yet!" She suddenly exclaimed.
"Oh yeah, hold on lemme get my phone! I want to get a picture of him taking the first bite." Papi swiped his phone from the counter and readied the camera.
Momma cut a piece off of the scrumptious smelling pancake and held it to my lips. I bit down. This was most heavenly thing to ever bless my taste buds! So fluffy! The sweet juicy blueberries complemented it so well and don't get me started on the maple syrup! I let out a groan of satisfaction as I chewed.
"Ah!" I demanded more opening my mouth wide. I must have more! Momma and Papi just laughed softly. More! More! "Ahhhh!" I repeated.
"Alright here you go hungry boy." Momma fed me some more. Soon I finished the whole plate. Momma gently wiped some sticky syrup off my face.
After I was done eating I watched Momma and Papi talk, not really listening just watching.
"Do you want to go play, Ty?" Momma asked, gathering the plates.
     "Ya." I confirmed.
"I can't imagine it's much fun just watching us talk." She laughed unbuckling me from the high chair. "What does Momma's little jellybean want to play?" She inquired.
I wondered what my options were. I saw a fisher price farm set sitting in the corner of the living room.
"Fum?" I asked point to the big red barn.
"Of course, pumpkin." She pulled it out of the corner and set me down next to it. Momma topped my head with a kiss before resuming her spot at the table. Looking over all the figurines I saw there's a pig, a cow, a chicken, a horse and a farmer. I pressed a button that made animal sounds. I giggled, how fun! The playset made all kinds of fun sounds. It has a bell and even played Old McDonald! I had a ball playing with the animals and the sounds. An hour passed without me realizing it.
"TJ~" Momma called. She leaned down next to me. She had a bit of makeup on her face now. "I'm sorry pumpkin but it's time stop playing." She apologized. "You're going to go Christmas shopping with Momma!" She cheered "Won't that be fun Jellybean?"
I don't know, I'll have to leave my farm...and the house! Oh shoot! I can't go out like this! I suddenly realized the way I'd been acting. I'd die of humiliation if anyone saw me like this! Small whimpers escaped from my throat.
"You can keep playing when we get home." She cooed. Momma picked me up from off the floor.
"No out!" I cried. I can't go out like this!
"Baby, no one is going to make fun of you. Do you know what age regression is?" Momma asked. I shook my head.
"You know how you feel a lot younger today?" She asked. I nodded.
"That's called littlespace. I'd say your little age is about five months to one and a half maybe two at most." She explained. "And me and Papi are your caregivers. We make sure that you're safe, happy and healthy." Momma grinned, kissing my cheek. "Littles  are quite common nowadays so I guarantee no one will make fun of you." She smiled.
I remember a few years ago I saw a two women, one with pigtails was being carried by the other girl. I had asked my brother, Liam, about it.
"Disgusting." He had grumbled with loathing. I don't want anyone to say something like that to me! I know I'll just stay with Papi!
"Papi!" I cheered, pointing to him while he wash the dishes.
He looked over to me. "Aw sorry little buddy but I have an acting roll offer to check out." He told me in a baby voice.
Wait. Acting roll offer? That's when it all clicked into place. Of course! How could I be so stupid! He's the famous actor Juan Ruiz! That's why he looked so familiar! I watched his movies all the time in high school! I do remember hearing about him getting a long lasting girlfriend a while back. He was infamous for being a playboy so it was pretty big news. I guess that was Momma.
Wait a minute...OH FUCK, FUCKING JUAN RUIZ HAS SEEN ME IN NOTHING BUT A FUCKING DIAPER!!! I blazed scarlet from my head to my toes at the realization. Oh fuck! Oh fuck! Oh fuck! I can't believe I've been acting like a baby in front of him. Momma is one thing but this guy used to be like my idol!
I buried my face in Momma's neck out of mortification.
"Aw, cutie pie. You'll see Papi again, don't worry!" She cooed. That is what I'm worried about. I can't face him!
"How about we get your coat on and then we can say goodbye to Papi before we go." Momma suggested. Nooo! I don't want to see him!
We went upstairs and she laid me in the plush changing table anyway. The "coat" was more of a baby blue snowsuit but it was very comfortable and soft on the inside.
"Do you want Peanuts?" Momma asked. I nodded and she went to her and Pa- I mean Juan's room to pick up my stuffed moose. I happily snuggled him to my cheek.
"Such a good boy."  She beamed. Her smile widened when I replied with a gurgle.
"Oh yes you are! Yes! Momma's baby is so good!" She crooned, tickling my stomach.
I howled with laughter.
Pa- Juan walked into the room probably to get dressed for his offer. "What's so funny?!" He baby-talked, coming over closer. His tall muscular stature seemed to loom over me now.
I shyed away, trying to snuggle closer to Momma.
I'm still humiliated from earlier.
A look of concern brushed across his face. "What's wrong, ducky? Did Papi startle you?" He leaned in closer.
I wiggled away from him.
He looked even more troubled. Momma seemed worried too. "Hey it's okay, bubs. Papi isn't going to hurt you, you know that." He reminded me.
Of course I know that but that doesn't make the situation less embarrassing.
"Here gimme a kiss goodbye." He kissed my cheek. I flushed deeply. "And one from the the lovely lady?" He looked to Momma and kissed her on the lips.
Yuck! I made a face. They both chuckled.
"Be careful on the roads, pretty much all of the ice has melted but still. He warned. "I really wish you would get a driver."
"Thanks, love, but I like driving myself." Momma grinned. "Bye, honey."
"Goodbye, Miss super-duper. Goodbye, my little man." Juan waved to us.
Momma went downstairs and grabbed a baby bag before going outside. I was buckled into a rear facing car seat like what a real baby would sit in. It was comfortable so I'm going to complain. I reached for the dangling toys on the car seat.
"Such a sweet little boy!" Momma kissed my forehead. She gave me a dinosaur rattle from the bag. I giggled and shook it.
I cried out when she closed the door. Where'd my momma go?!
"It's ok, jellybean. Momma's still here." She reminded me in a soft voice from the front seat. I couldn't see her because of the car seat but I felt safe because my momma was there.
