Living in the dorms wasn't as bad as I expected but it was an adjustment.

For starters it's clear Mineta lacks time and place, early mornings always seeming to be tainted by the perv.

Also, we'd all take turns cooking from time to time, Koda always making a dessert even if it weren't his day.

But anyway, today was a new day as summer was coming up, and Aizawa was sure to talk about that in class.

"Your main focus should be to obtain your provisional hero license" he informed us as we nodded.

"To prepare you'll all be working on two ultimate moves" and cue, my mom, Ectoplasm, and Cementoss had walked in.

"Finally something fun!" "I know right? I've been waiting for this" Kirishima agreed as we were told to change and head to gym gamma.

"I can't believe we're so close to getting our licenses" Mina spoke "Literally, like I swear we weren't this close to getting them" I added while pulling non my hero suit.

"And we're practically second years" Momo smiled with a sparkle in her eye.

After changing in the gym Aizawa and Cementoss explained things to us.

"Allow me one question!" 'Oh no" "but what's the advantage of an ultimate move for the provisional exam? And what's the reason?" Tenya asked "That's two questions handsome"

Aizawa had of course given us a long answer while my mom answered as well "And those of you with an ultimate move will be prepared for anything"

It was a good rundown even though I didn't listen much, and I could feel my boyfriend poke my side to pay attention.

Anyways Cementoss had changed the training area that we'd be at for the remainder of our summer, my previous smile dropping.

"Oh my gawwwwwd, I hate this place" I completely dramatically "Shut up loser" "You're a loser too. We're stuck here all summer!" I continued to complain till Tenya had flicked my arm.

"You're the best in our class, you'll do great" he smiled until we had all gotten started.

Now I was standing on a platform with Ectoplasm "Try letting loose, I've seen some of your moves" the hero explained and I pulled out my cards.

"Let's see" and automatically the shapes on the cards shot off like bullets, and once embedded my jokers had gone off, neon pink and green smoke going up.

"Nice, now incorporate some movement"

So we continued until "Wild card" was created. I was so happy that my first move was created, and at the last few minutes of training, I was able to turn aces into capture weapons, two aces forming together to make a sort of rope, stretching out and wrapping around whatever it comes into contact with something or someone.

"Good job Y/n, "Wild card's" been developed beautifully so far" Ectoplasm complimented "Thank you-" "That's my baby for you, excellent as ever" Mom cheered while giving me a warm hug.

Time skip
As the days went on my moves had developed and I improved as well.

My area manipulation was getting better and I didn't get sick as often as usual, which was a problem as I had to maintain the move for it to have an impact along with still fighting and using other parts of my quirk.

But as of now, Midoriya had stolen the show with his new kick, one that was able to destroy an entire boulder.

It was amazing and I was proud of my friend, Bakugou looking a bit upset at the sight.

"Hey, that looks good Todoroki," I say after seeing the aftermath of one of his moves.

"Thanks, yours looks great too though" "I know"

"So you and Iida have been well?" My friend asked as we ignored the arrival of class B.

"Yeah, but he keeps checking up on me, even when he needs to be checked on" "Well he worries about you, and it hasn't been that long since we got you back from the Lov" he advised as I nodded.

"True"

Eventually, training was over and we had all changed into normal clothes before going back to the dorms.

As a nice gesture after dinner, I had cut up fruit for everyone, and my classmates were all quick to grab some.

"Thank you!" They thanked "Yeah no problem, plus I'm tired of y'all taking snacks from my room" and with a bone-chilling stare, my message was made clear.

"Here you go, Handsome, make sure to take things easy. You're starting to mutter like Midoriya" I say while handing my boyfriend some fruit.

"Thank you, and sorry, this exam's important, yet it's like we barely have any time" "I know, but you of all people got this" and with a kiss on my boyfriend's cheek we chilled with the class for a moment, Denki and Kirishima rambling about something till Bakugou stormed out of his room.

"Can you bastards shut the hell up? Unlike you, I wanna fucking sleep" "Well damn, use the fucking noise-canceling earbuds I got you" I rolled my eyes at the blond.

"Whatever dumbass, I was saving them for something worthwhile but ight" and with that he had stomped away.

"It's shocking how you can get away with so much" "Thank you, it's a talent of mine" I smiled.

But we all did agree that we should go to bed, all of us telling each other goodnight and Tenya again walking me to my dorm, this time sleeping on his own because he said I needed to rest and not stay up talking.

"Sounds like resting to me but whatever"
