𝐘/𝐧'𝐬𝐩𝗼𝐯 Today was the provincial hero license exam and I was so excited, practically bouncing off the walls.
It was also a plus that I had a new hero suit, modifying it and wanting to give myself a new and sleek look.
Anyway, my class had mixed feelings, while some were excited or at least hopeful, others were worrying themselves sick or had no thought on today.
"How are you feeling?" I asked Tenya as we got off the bus "I feel good actually, I didn't feel great about this until yesterday after you complimented me" he blushed "Well what can I say, I'm just like that" "Of course, Dove"
"If you can pass this test and get your provisional licenses, then your novice eggs will hatch into chicks, and you'll be semi-pros" Aizawa motivated.
"I can't wait to be heroic chickens" "Oh...you know what, me too" I agreed with Denki, laughing at his words until some weirdo had walked over.
"Who's that?" I asked "They're another famous hero school, Shiketsu of the West" Bakugou explained "Oh...well...that's type"
After Inasa had left with his class Ms. Joke had walked over, but despite her quirk, Aizawa was not having it.
Now the second years from Ketsubutsu Academy had walked over as well.
"Oh you're so pretty" I complimented a blond girl "Me? That's you-" "Wow a heart of fortitude and a Face of beauty? You really are Y/n" Shindo beamed, the boy trying to lay his charm down a little thick.
"Oh thanks, but you can say what you're thinking, plus my boyfriend can give me better compliments" I rolled my eyes while retracting my hand from him, not able to see my boyfriend, Bakugou, and Todoroki standing behind me, only feeling a weird aura.

After being sent off to change we were in orientation with everyone else. New costume

"Thank you, I've been into bell bottoms and my belts are support items too" "Don't say that last part too loud, like Aizawa said, we don't know what everyone else's quirks are, but I'm sure they know ours from the sports festival" Tenya advised.
"As if knowing my quirk has ever helped anyone out"
"Okay then, let's do this exam thing" a tired blond spoke up from a podium 'so many blonds'.
"I'm from, uh, the Heroes Public Safety Commission" "*whisper* damn get it out".
Mera had begun to talk, even telling us about how many citizens are beginning to be against heroes due to Stain thanks to his convictions against money and status-hungry heroes.
"But, when you think about it, getting paid makes sense. If you're gonna risk your life to save someone, why shouldn't you ask for a reward, huh?" 'True'.
And again some more ranting had commenced after explaining that our first task would be of speed, also saying how only 100 people would pass.
"Well damn. That's not even half" I deadpanned while looking around, already locking in on the people who seemed to lack confidence or anything else, going for traits that I could manipulate.
"You're a terrible person" "So are you" I respond to Bakugou.
Once getting our censors I had split off alone, aware that I'd work best without everyone.
"Be careful!" Tenya yelled, "You too!" I yelled, readying myself as I summoned my father once the bell had gone off.
"I know your quirk, crazy lady," a guy said, one of my targets "Really? Well, come on" I grinned while pulling out a card.
"Perfect, Queen" and instantly I slapped the card, watching it sharpen.
"Like a card can hurt me" he spoke before he had created slime, his balls coated in it as he threw one at me.
"I don't have to hurt you" Instantly we were in an illusion, the slime ball faltering enough to allow me to get out of its way and throw my card, allowing for two balls to make contact with his sensors, already sensing someone behind me.
"Alright Dad, let's try it," I say, having a personal move as my father allowed me onto his back, pulling out a joker and queen.
"Time to try out "Off with your head" "Ultimate moves already? UA is so advanced" this guy laughed till turning himself into a snake.
"Ew I hate snakes" I cringed as Dad turned himself into a mallet for me.
"Well come on" and now I had thrown up the cards before hitting them, my joker hitting the guy first, making a paralysis feeling fill his body, my queen locking him down by the throat, allowing me to hit his sensors.
"Finally, another one done" Mera cheered as I walked off to go observe the fights.
"Wow, a daughter of a villain, you're truly amazing, and you handle your quirk so well, having Midnight as your mom and going to UA must pay off" Inasa spoke, finishing a few minutes before me.
"Yeah thanks" I nodded before focusing on my class, Inasa seeming to do the same until others had begun to come in, the boy walking off to talk up others.
Todoroki had done great, figuring out his surroundings quickly, allowing him to win his fight against the ninja folks.
"There's so many people who've passed" Todoroki spoke "Yeah but it's not that many, our class will be fine"
Everyone was doing pretty well, only 40 spots left for everyone in 1-A.
The arena was like a war zone at this point, everyone focused on UA instead of other schools, Shindo showing his true colors, targeting and bombarding tired or unaware people.
Finally, Momo and her group had come in.
Now our class was flooding in like nothing, Mera getting excited for his break.
Tenya was doing what he always does, assisting everyone before himself, my heartwarming at his kindness, a true hero.
"The last students passed!" And finally, Tenya and everyone else had walked in, all of us cheering for our class.
"Tenya! You did amazing" I cheered, jumping into his grasp to shower Tenya in kisses.
"Please I wasn't much" "Yes you were, you inspired so many people" "Only because of you" he spoke softly, pulling off his helmet to show the soft smile on his lips.
Now I've never thought of myself as an inspiration, but to hear that I did, especially my boyfriend of all people, it felt good, and it made me want to keep doing better.
