"Please be safe," Tenya pleaded with me as today would be the day we infiltrated the liberation front, and as long would have it, I was able to go into the hospital with Mirko and Endeavor, putting me in the line of fire.

Many in our class worried about me, and while Denki and Tokoyami would be on the line as well, I was going to be directly inside, aiding in the capture of the doctor who's been helping All for on take quirks and create Nomu.

"I will, you know I'll be fine," I smiled at my boyfriend before hugging him.

After my hug with Tenya, I had given out my last hugs and of course, Mom had made sure to kiss my cheek, the woman making the hug a little stronger than usual, but I had let it go, deciding that I'd make my every action worth it.

But now I was off with Mirko and the heroes.

"Don't be too worried, just let go and fight, I'll cover if you need me to," Mirko reassured, her words easing my mind and as I fixed myself up, my hair pulled back in two puffs.

"Please evacuate the hospital, it'll soon become a battle zone," the heroes had begun to make everyone evacuate as Mirko and I ran for the morgue.

As we ran we had gotten word that the Doctor was already found, but I feel like that wasn't truly the case as Mirko and I ran through some dark halls.

"Alright, show me those skills," Mirko smiled as we came up on some weak Nomu, the woman taking out the first two as I took out the last ones, smashing their heads with my mallet, throwing it for the last Nomu who just seemed a little too far, my mallet flying right back to my hand after it was taken care of.

After that we had kicked right through the wall, seeing the real doctor.

"What's up doc," Mirko grinned before destroying the Nomu tanks.

"Hey, we just found someone old geezer down here," "Is it the real one?" Endeavor asked.

"We'll see once my mallet hits him," I shrugged, Mirko snickering at my words as Endeavor rambled about bringing the man alive.

I ignored most of that.

But when Mirko tried to attack the doctor, some tiny Nomu attacked while trying to make a replica of the doctor, so without thinking I smashed it with my mallet, soon being punched by some stronger Nomu, Mirko the same as we flew into some pipes.

"Shit," these Nomu weren't like the easy ones, these seemed strong, and more sentient, which would make things harder for us.

While Mirko jumped back into action, I had let Dad out, a diamond card in hand as we jumped into the action as well.

Mirko was fantastic, fighting the Nomu without showing any feat, but I wanted to show off too.

Once Dad and I were in view I threw the diamond, watching it land on the Nomu who had bone-like hair attacking Mirko, watching the card explode with some pink smoke, the bone-shattering which gave Mirko an extra second to land a solid kick.

As they fought, Y/n's father was fighting and also shielding Y/n from any attacks, they were doing fine for a moment until noticing that one of the Nomu was able to bust Mirko's arm.

It wasn't a good idea to look away after Y/n's side had been punched just before the bone villain had gotten Y/n's side, the large gash revealing some muscle and if you looked closely, possibly a rib.

Seeing this, Y/n created some gum and used it to cover the area, hardening it to protect the wound and keep herself intact.

There wasn't any time to be in pain or worry about it, Y/n had jumped into action.

"Gotta use this early," Y/n sighed while taking out her joker and queen, throwing it at a rather large Nomu who wasn't expecting the paralysis to strike just before the chain had locked around its neck and kept him locked in.

"Byeee," Y/n sang before crushing its head, blood splattering onto her body before the female Nomu had thrown Y/n against the wall, Y/n's father haven been destroyed.

Once she realized, Y/n had brought the man back out, seeing him come out swinging, attacking the female Nomu, matching her speed and strength.

As those two fought, Y/n decided to get into the Nomu's heads, knowing that it was normally easy.

Her illusion was starting but there was a bit of pushback, the high ends were only focused on killing her and their minds truly weren't much, but because these were past villains with a strong will, Y/n was able to infiltrate their minds regardless.

All she needed was to hold them off for a moment, making herself look like the doctor.

"Stand down my precious Nomu, no need to attack right now," Y/n spoke, grinning to herself as it seemed that her illusion was working.

But Y/n didn't realize that their programming was more complex than that, and in an instant, she and Mirko had been pierced by the bone Nomu, Mirko withstanding him in time for Endeavor's arrival while Y/n used this as a chance for a little reveal.

"Just in time," and with a simple clap of her hands, the cards Y/n had placed onto the Nomu had gone off, making them faulter as the other heroes had jumped into action.

"Mirko, and Y/n, I owe you two, so take it easy," Endeavor spoke after Y/n had gotten away from the line of fire for a moment, just when another Nomu had jumped down at them.

Without even attempting to use her quirk, Y/n had kicked the Nomu before it could even truly attack, her quick moves something that not many heroes expected out of a hero in training.

"I'm tired of these damn Nomu," Y/n sighed before flipping back for Endeavor to jump in.

"Trust me, we all are."
