Chapter 4: The Alliance

Polaris, along with Rodrigo, his only surviving nindroid from the Digital Dark Lord era, followed the magical fire vipers that glided through the city carrying out Aspheera's orders.

Polaris let out a contented sigh as he looked around at the chaos that had been caused.

- How I love invasions during the day. The crying, screaming and fire! Oh, and I can smell the light scent of lavender, lavender smells beautiful.... Burning lavender! Even better. - He said to himself satisfied.

- My lord, are you sure you want to make some kind of agreement with this snake empress? - asked Rodrigo with uncertainty.

- Yes. But only for a while. She will help me, and I will help her.

They stopped while Polaris took a deep breath and sniffed the air. His head automatically turned to one of the alleys and he could feel his saliva dripping. He licked his lips and his eyes narrowed lustfully, and his stomach growled.

- Is something wrong? - Rodrigo asked, analyzing his superior's behavior.

- Human.... An adult and... child!- he hissed to himself and disappeared with a wide grin.

Rodrigo looked around in search of his master, but to no avail. He shrugged his shoulders and whistled to himself, putting his hands behind his back, patiently waiting for his return.

Then he heard a loud squeal from around the corner, until he jumped up suprised. He looked in that direction and next to him, out of nowhere, Polaris appeared. He shouted in shock.

The general didn't notice his behavior just licked his fingers as if he was after a great meal.  - Mmmm... how I haven't smelled that taste in a long time. Such innocence seasoned with age. Excellent!

- You did it again. - remarked Rodrigo and rolled his eyes.

- What!? Is not my fault! They are so tempting! With the rest.... I love children. - He admitted and laughed out loud.

Nindroid was well aware that Polaris had a habit of eating various children she encountered who had been left unattended or who were lost. He sighed wearily and followed his master, who was in excellent spirits looking for the snake queen. However, Polaris continued to look around in search of more children.

The ninjas in Land Bounty, meanwhile, along with the knights,had notified through Clay of the event, roamed the city ready to clash with the fiery serpents.

- Make it clearer. You wanted to prove to Master Wu, that you were still in the form of heroes, so you went to an ancient, enchanted pyramid in the middle of the desert and managed to free an ancient snake queen from the early days of the Serpentine race and she, in exchange for her release, stole Kai's powers and left you to die by swimming in lava? - questioned Clay, staring at his sister furiously.

- Yes... that's the shorter version. - she muttered, looking at her hands, which were intertwined together.
