Chapter 12: Manipulation is the key to victory

- Again!!!

Aspheera's loud voice echoed, as she commanded her fire vipers to break down the metal garage door, to get to Wu.

The viper hit the gates with all its might, but nothing happened. Polaris yawned, as he leaned on his obsidian Claymore, waiting for action.

- Again!!!

Another viper moved to the door and banged it's head against it, but again the same effect. Not even a scratch. Aspheera hissed deeply, slightly holding her burning rage and tightened her grip on the staff.

- Again!!!

Nor did it help to comment on Char, who apparently liked, what the cobras were doing. Aspheera sent him threatening daggers, refraining from not hitting him.

- Say that again and I'll rip your tongue out.

Char gave a slight squeal and nodded quickly, Aspheera went back to ordering the cobras, and Polaris quietly prepared to fight the enemy.

Meanwhile, behind the iron wall, the ninjas were still repairing the big mech samurai. However, it was hard to concentrate on the work when a full-powered and bloodthirsty sorceress from ages past, along with her army of fiery serpents, is looking for you.

- REVENGE!!!

Aspheera's loud voice thundered, as the rumblings caused by the strikes by the fire cobras intensified.

- What is it, master? - Kai asked with hesitation.

- This is what pure hatred sounds like. Aspheera will not rest, until she catches me and.... kill me.- said Wu with a heavy sigh.

Cole, Jay, Kai and PIXAL looked at each other with worry and fear for their mentor's life, before smiling.

- Master, as long as we are here with you, you are in no danger. - assured Kai.

- Yes. They want you, then they will have to defeat us first. - said Cole.

- Agreed. - agreed PIXAL.

Suddenly there was a beeping sound and everyone jumped slightly surprised at the sudden sound, but calmed down when Nya's voice rang out on the communicator.

- PIXAL? Are you there?

Nindroid ran over to the control console and sat in the swivel chair, as she answered the call from the Master of Water.

- Nya, we are. Did you manage to find the Forbidden Scroll?

- Yes, and we are back to home! - she replied cheerfully.

Cole, Kai, Jay and PIXAL and most of all Wu sighed with great relief and joy at this news. Saber's voice rang out in the speakers before his head appeared in the frame of the screen.
