Outside, the snow was falling and everyone from the League of Heroes was gathered at the Spinjitzu Monastery, preparing for the Christmas party to be held tonight.

In the kitchen, Zane with Axl were baking a dozen cookies for guests, who are yet to come visit and were invited to the party. Axl was wearing a chef's hat with blue snowflakes as designs on it.

Zane proudly wore a slightly pink apron also decorated with white little Christmas trees as patterns on it.

- Beautiful cookies...Can we eat them? - Axl asked, reaching for one hot cookie.

- Patience, Axl. Tonight there will be as many cookies as you want. - said Zane with a warm smile, before a cold expression appeared on his face.

- But don't you dare move them until the party.... You understand, what I'm asking you to do? - he threatened, putting a wooden spoon to Axel's face.

- Yes. I'm not moving or touching!

Zane abandoned his cold expression and smiled warmly. He patted the giant on the shoulder and went to the refrigerator to get more stuff. Axl sighed in relief and a shudder ran through his body, but he continued to help the nindrioid with his work.

In living room, Nya, (Y/N), Macy, Kai and Clay decorated the room with various Christmas ornaments. Clay used his magic to wrap the entire Christmas tree with colorful lights, while Kai and Macy decorated the tree with baubles.

- Jay! Could you so kindly bring your butt up here and help us!? - exclaimed Kai, as he was again pricked by the Christmas tree's thorns.

- Wait a minute!! I'm here beating Cole in the race!!! - he shouted from the gaming room.

The Master of Fire growled under his breath, shaking his head but took to decorating anyway. After a while, he got pricked by the Christmas tree's thorns again and groaned.

- I said, let's buy an artificial one! This one just stings me!

(Y/N), who was preparing the table with Nya's help, wheezed and looked at her brother as if he had committed some great crime.

- An artificial Christmas tree will not convey the true beauty of Christmas! No one will feel the atmosphere, when we have a fake Christmas tree! - she became indignant and pointed at him with a fork.

- If that's the case, you could have decorated the hoard yourself. - He groaned and reached into the box for more baubles.

- I could, but you would have to put all the forks, spoons, plates and glasses in the right order instead. Would you like to do that? - She replied, squinting at him.

- No.

- See.

Lance, Cole and Jay, as he said earlier, were sitting in the gaming room, playing on the console. Lance for them didn't want to come and help with the preparations. Too much work for his beautifully made hands. He likes to wait for things to be ready, he always did when the Knights were still having the Christmas at Fortrex.
