A loud roar echoed through the canyons of the desert. Several mountains erupted as they shattered into rubble. A green alien, wearing a white turban with a purple top and weighted cape with weighted padding underneath, purple gi and pants and orange shoes. He floated at the edge of the cliff, unleashing his energy, shattering more mountains. Piccolo panted as sweat dripped from his face from his training. "Goku, this time I'm gonna wipe the mat with your face." Piccolo growled.

Suddenly, something appeared in Piccolo's vision slowly drifting towards him in front of him. Another appeared behind him, heading towards him. Fast. Piccolo's eyes widened. An ambush! A third shot out from the canyon underneath Piccolo, headbutting him in his stomach. Piccolo flew up and another assailant slammed into him from behind then another did the same, knocking him down.

"Who are these guys?!-" All three began to hit and punch Piccolo, in a barrage of onslaught. Piccolo opened his eyes as he saw a tall muscular figure standing above him, looking down at him. Piccolo's back slammed into the canyon as he was pinned down by his attackers.

"I'll find you" All three of his assailants fired an energy beam at him, connecting with him. It exploded with Piccolo along with it as it crumbled down on top of him.

"Finally, Piccolo and Kami are one in body and in spirit because now they're both dead." Garlic Jr laughed.

High above the skies of the Earth was around floating building. Inside, was another green alien, like Piccolo. He had wrinkly skin, wearing a robe with a blue collar and dark blue shoes. On the center of his robe was the kanji "God" the guardian of the Earth, Kami. Kami gasped as he clenched his chest, painfully, falling onto his knees. He gripped his staff as he struggled to stand up. "I can't believe what I'm hearing. Piccolo killed by Goku? He wouldn't..."Then Kami's eyes widened in realization. "No! It can't be!"

A short, plump humanoid with a dark complexion, red lips and pointed ears rushed into the room. He was the guardian's assistant and grounds keeper to the Lookout, Mr. Popo. He was wearing a white turban with a light blue jewel on his forehead, gold hooped earrings on each ear, a marooned patterned and gold trimmed sleeveless vest, exposing his chest, gold armbands on his upper arms and white pants with a red sash and red slippers.

"Kami! Terrible news! Ocarin is not in her room!" the genie shouted in alarm. His face dropped in worry as he saw Kami on the floor and quickly ran over to him. "Kami! What's wrong? What happened to you!?"

"It's Piccolo. He was attacked." Kami told him. Mr. Popo's eyes widened in shock.

"But Goku wouldn't-" Kami shook his head.

"It's not Goku, Mr. Popo. I fear that an old ghost from my past has come back to haunt me."

Piccolo groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. The sunlight blinded them, hitting his face, as it shined through the cracks of the rubble from the mountain. Slowly as his eyes began to adjust, Piccolo saw that he was not alone in the darkness. Sitting in front of him was a young human woman, who appeared to be in her early twenties. Her skin was pale but slightly tanned from the sun, long onyx black hair reaching down to her waist, with the end tied up in a white ribbon. She was wearing a white gi with long blue sleeves with holes cut out, revealing her shoulders and blue pants with a red sash and blue shoes. On the center of her chest was a circular emblem that had Kami's sigil. Ocarin. She was looking through the crack for the assailants. Piccolo's eyes widen as soon as he saw her, and he quickly sat up.

"You-!" Her hand quickly slammed on Piccolo's mouth.

"Quiet! They'll hear you!" She hissed. Piccolo glanced over at the crack, hearing his attackers outside searching around until their footsteps slowly faded away as they left. He glared at her, and she removed her hand from his mouth.

"What are you doing here?" He spoke a little quieter in a whisper, keeping his eyes on her. Ocarin turned to him and spoke.

"For weeks I've been having strange visions, that something was going to happen to you, and it looks like I was right. Someone's targeting you to get to Kami in order to get rid of both of you."

Piccolo scoffed. "Let me guess, you're here to keep your "precious" Kami safe, like always. Get lost! I don't need your help!"

Ocarin's mouth dropped a little in surprise, blushing, before it quickly disappeared. Her left eye twitched, irritated. That's not why she was here at all! How dense can he be!? If he only knew how much she thought of him. Ocarin looked at him and gritted her teeth, clenching her fists, angrily, in her lap. "You idiot! I'm here to keep you both safe! Can't you see that!?" She shouted at him. Piccolo's eyes widened, startled by her outburst, going silent. Ocarin sighed. "Look, I know that there's sense in reasoning with you. But we need to work together."

"Not a chance." Piccolo snorted.

"Just until this evil force is gone then you can go back on your revenge vendetta with Goku and taking over the world, alright?" She insisted.

"Fine. What do you have in mind?" Piccolo asked her. Ocarin smirked.

"Good. I'm glad that we're seeing eye to eye on things."
