As they waited for Goku to come in the three hours and rested, Piccolo, Krillin, Ocarin and Gohan gathered to think of a plan. Piccolo glared down at Gohan, who refused to look up at him, still shaking and trembling.

"Come on, give him a break. It is his first real fight after all." Krillin replied.

"I shouldn't have expected anything from you. Get out of here, you coward!" Piccolo growled. Gohan's eyes widened, still shaking. Ocarin stepped in.

"Piccolo, you're being too hard on him. He is still just a boy." She insisted. Piccolo narrowed his eyes at her. "I don't see you doing anything. Some protecter of Earth you are." He retorted. Ocarin's eyes widened before she gritted her teeth, looking angrily at him.

"I'm doing what I can! I am nearly reaching my limit." She hissed. "We all are! These guys are complete freaks! If I had enough power, I would wipe the floor with them." Piccolo scoffed, looking away from and glanced over at Vegeta and Nappa, who were waiting as well. "That huge guy got intimidated by that Vegeta runt. Is he even stronger than him?"

More minutes had passed and Goku still hadn't arrived. Krillin gritted his teeth, clenching his fists. "Damn it, what are you doing, Goku? Where is he?" He turned to Piccolo. "Do you think we have a chance to run away? There's no way we can win. This is no time to be stubborn!"

"Fool! They plan to wipe out all of humanity. Even if you run away, you'll end up with them." Piccolo hissed.

An hour had passed, Goku still hadn't arrived.

"Damn it! Goku, hurry up! Piccolo, Goku is sure to be here in the next three hours, right?" Krillin asked.

"Who knows. We need to think of some way to inflict damage on them, even if it's a little just until Goku gets here. Regardless of how much power Goku may have gained at King Kai's place, his chances of fighting both of them and winning are next to impossible. We've made some tremendous enemies here." Piccolo said.

"If only I...I had been more reliable earlier, Tien, might not have had to die." Gohan spoke.

"That's right!" Piccolo barked angrily. Gohan cringed. "Who knew that you were such a coward!?"

"Piccolo, lighten up. You're being kind of hard on Gohan. He's only 5 years old." Krillin replied.

"But he must be really strong if he's made it here so far." Ocarin spoke as well.

"Krillin. Ocarin." Gohan looked at them.

"Gohan, I thought I had raised you to be a man." Piccolo spoke. Gohan looked back to him.

"Mister Piccolo! Please, help me train for the next three hours." He insisted.

"Don't act like a spoiled child! I don't have time for cowards! Get out of here, now!" Piccolo shouted.

"P-Piccolo!" Gohan's eyes widened, hurt, starting to tear up.

"Piccolo!" Ocarin scolded him, angrily. Piccolo turned away from them, not looking at them. "Gohan, I've taught you everything that I know." Gohan walked away.

"Gohan, come back! You've got to show Goku how big and strong you've grown!" Krillin called out to him. Ocarin's eyes widened, sensing energy.

"Gohan!" She cried out. Gohan screamed when a blast almost hit him, shattering a boulder.

"Hey, kid. Are you trying to run away!?" Vegeta shouted. Nappa smirked.

"Well, that would be the smart thing to do."

"W-Who's running away!? I have to use the bathroom! And if you guys are going to go home, now is your chance." Gohan growled, glaring at them angrily.

"What's that? I didn't hear you." Nappa taunted him.
