Before we start, one quick thing. Jimmy's watcher name is canarius, Pearl's name is Xyah, And I couldn't figure out a name for BigB, so his nickname is B. His real name is too hard to pronounce.

"XELY! YOU'RE DEAD!" Xyah almost screamed. She ran through by the halls, pushing through other trying to enjoy their free time as her younger brother giggled while holding her bag. She stopped at the headmistress' office when she heard something.

"We can just let them graduate early! They could be a help to us! Let us reclaim what is ours!" She overheard the headmistress say. Out of curiosity, she listened closer.
"But they're young, and the prophecy isn't even complete!"
That was professor V!

"Oh who cares? We have enough! Those two are the sun and moon! The prophesied children who can get us home! They have a foot in both worlds. Their father was once a player, and still has the code. That has to be them in the prophecy."

Who...oh. Xyah knew who they were talking about now. Xelqua, her brother, had already come over, and was peeking through the crack. He was about to ask what they were talking about before she shushed him.

"This could be almost fatal for Xelqua, and who knows what would happen to Xyah!"

"Ok? Two children for our entire world back!" Xyah didn't want to listen more. She grabbed her brothers arms and went out into the courtyard of the academy.

"Hey, what's going on?" He asked.
"I'll tell you later, but outside, ok?" The purple lanterns lit the cold stone walls almost maliciously and the dark brownish blue wood had a slight creak in every step.
As they walked into the courtyard, xelqua couldn't wait any longer. "What's going on? Why'd professor X say our names? Why do you seem mad?" Xyah stared at him.
She knew what was going to happen. Only 115 years old, and he's going to be a sacrifice. They both will.
"We need to get out of here. I overheard the headmistress and Professor V talking about some prophecy with us in it. He said it'll probably kill you and do something to me."
Xelqua was quiet, like he was trying to process everything.
"So are we like heros?"
"No, from what I know, more like sacrifices." The two sat in silence, before xelqua seemed to have an idea. "Wait! I think I know how to keep us safe. We can go into the overworld, and I know a lot about it so we might be able to blend in! We just need a portal!"
"Are you crazy? Portal magic is extremely forbidden here!"
"Not at home it isn't!" He smirked. "We have break in a week for the End festival!"
"The one celebrating our truce with the endermen and voidlings?"
Xyah started to see the plan forming.
" We can go there, watch a day or two of the festival, goodbye to mother and father, and go!" Xelqua exclaimed.
"Woah, you're a genius Xel." Xyah muttered. No wonder he was top of some of his classes.
"I know." He laughed. "Wanna stay here a bit longer? We have some free time till our next class." Other watchlings were out in the courtyard, giving Xyah a weird sense of comfort.
"Sure."

The capital was adorned with lights and the streets were bustling with joy. There were kiosks with games, souvenirs, and the scent of food was in the air. This was the biggest celebration yet. There were people coming from all over the end, and all because a baby had been born in the endermen's royal family. The baby was special though, since instead of the normal white spots the rest of the royal family has, a whole half of his body was covered in white.
Xyah and Xelqua had already told their parents their plans, and with tears they agreed to it.
"Wait- Cain! Martyn! B! Scott! We need to say goodbye to them!" Xelqua stopped just as they went away from the crowd.
"We- oh, right." Xyah thought for a second. They couldn't waste time, but how would their friends react if they just went missing with no warning, especially given how safe watcher society as a whole is? "Fine. We can go see Canarius and B."
"And Martyn and Scott?"
"They're listeners! They're not really meant to be here."
"Well they're in town! And they're both disguised! Cain told me so!"
"Fine, let's go."

The two found their friends in an alley and broke the news to them all.
"WHAT?! No. You're not going." Cain jumped. "Nuh-uh. No way."
"Well do you want us to be dead?" Xyah retorted.
"She has a point." B butt in.
Martyn just stayed quiet, letting it all sink in. "You'll stay in touch, right?"
He held the mars necklace tight. Each of the friend group had one- Xel the sun, Pearl the moon, Cain a cloud, Scott a star, and B Saturn.
"Yeah, we'll try. You two will Listen to us, right?" Xel smiled. He must've noticed Martyn clutching the Mars necklace because he clutched his own sun necklace.
"Yeah. We're gonna Listen to you so much, you're never gonna feel peace!" Scott joked.

It all felt...so familiar. Grian sat and watched the sky glimmer with stars. Everyone was here.
Martyn, Jimmy, Pearl, BigB, and him. They were together again. After 4 seasons of this torturous time loop, it had finally came to him.
He thought they would never seem eachother again, but then EVO happened, then the deal. That stupid, stupid deal.
He was never going to be free, was he? He and Pearl may have escaped sacrifice, but they never escaped their roots. Just to live, he had sign a deal and hold a curse with those wretched purple...there just wasn't a word that was putrid enough, disrespectful enough, mean enough to describe them.  A cult, maybe? No, that sounded to formal to them. All this for their entertainment.

"Hey there Bad Boy." Pearl sat down next to him, admiring the broken bread bridge.
She had changed so much. Before was his awkward older sister who had a weird love for overworld dogs to a bloodthirsty, yet kind and cunning woman who kept her friends close and enemies closer and yet- she still had that same love for dogs.
He had changed too, hadn't he? Becoming less prideful of his prodigy status and more and more chaotic by the day.
"Hey."
"You ok?" Pearl looked over to him. "Ever since the other bad boys died, you've been...staring into space a lot. Do you need to talk?"
Grian shrugged. "Kinda, I guess? It just came to me that we're all together again, y'know? And then Jimmy dying, then Joel, well yeah."
With no warning, pearl hugged him tight.
"H-HEY! You're squeezing me! I'm gonna suffocate! I wanted to die more heroically than this!" He laughed.
"No! I'm gonna give you the most boring death ever!" Pearl sneered jokingly and hugged him tighter. She finally let him go after lots of laughing and lots of choking.
Silence. Everyone had been asleep but them.
"So, about that contract." Grian finally spoke up. Only he, BigB and Pearl had known about the contract, mostly because they had been there and made the decision with him.
"What about it?"
"What if we just...broke it?" He had already broken one of the rules by simply being in the games, not just watching. Pearl's gaze shifted into confusion.
"What?"
"I mean, think about it! We already broke the rules by being here! And I know Martyn was gonna disappoint the watchers by making his death boring when it happens!" He stood up and held his hand out to his older sister. "This is torture for us, you and I both know that. They hate when contracts are broken.  Why don't we make it torture for them?"
"Dude, I don't know...you've seen what they can do." Oh yeah. EVO. Not all of them made it out, did they? Taurtis kept refusing, again and again, to the point well...there's probably still dried blood in that cell.
"Exactly. We could get revenge! We could finally break free! Like- forever! Just think, You, me, BigB, Martyn, Jimmy, and maybe even other people here breaking the contract and ending it all!" He breathed out.
Pearl thought for a moment.
"Yeah. Yeah, I think so." Pearl smiled. She started to get it. She never wanted to go back (as much as she missed her classmates and parents,) but this? This was the perfect way to reconnect. To go against the Watchers. To become her own thing.
"Let's do it. "
