Will we make it out alive together?

The beginning of an adventure (Pt. 2)

Link's POV:

It already was late and I was tired because of practising element control. Samira was making dinner and I sat next to a tree leaning on it. ,,It's going to be ready soon. Just a few more minutes, ok?" Samira said, smiling at me. I nodded and rubbed my eyes. She walked over to me and sat down next to me. With a sigh she said: ,,You seem a little ill to me." - ,,I'm just... really tired." I said. I was about to fall asleep. But before I could, she said: ,,Just stay awake a little while longer." She held up my head so I wouldn't just drop to the ground. She got back up after leaning me back on the tree and got our dinner done.

I yawned and watched her fill up the bowls. ,,Here you go." Samira said, giving a bowl of soup. ,,Thanks." I whispered with a weak smile. She got her bowl of soup and sat down next to me. We ate our soup in silence, not even with the slightest look at each other. That went on fow a few minutes. ,,I hope Bonny and Lenny are alright." I quietly said. ,,Yeah same. I wonder where they are right now. she said with a kind of worried expression on her face. ,,Me too. But they probably already are on their way to find us." I said, hoping to calm her down a little bit. ,,You probably are right." she said and laid her head on my shoulder. ,,So, uhm... I just wanted to ask... if you already practised controlling your element?" I asked her. I know I was talking about something completely different, but... I just wanted to make sure we're ready to fight those monsters using the elements well. ,,Yeah, I've practised while cooking. You know since I have the element fire and fire has to be used for cooking... so I've just practised controlling it for that. And for now, I'm going to keep doing that. It's the easiest thing for me to do now." she said to answer my question. I quietly giggled and said: ,,That's a good way to practise."

-The next day-

Samira's POV:

I got up when I saw the sun rise. I've stayed up the whole night to watch out if monsters would come. 'I know I am the one who practised less, but Link really needed the sleep.' I thought, going through Link's hair while he was sleeping. After a few minutes I started to look for some food for us to eat. 'I wonder when Bonny and Lenny will be here. They probably didn't stay at the same place so they must be somewhere. But... where?' I asked myself, still looking for some food. When I found some things we could eat I went back to the little place we were sleeping at.

-Half an hour later, with Bonny and Lenny-

Lenny's POV:

,,Where do you think are Linl and Samira?" I asked Bonny, wondering if Link and Samira were at a safe place. ,,I don't know. But I smell food around here." Bonny said. ,,You're right, someone must be around.-" I said. ,,-Maybe it's Link and Samira." Together, side by side, we looked around for the source of the smell of food. ,,It's somewhere over there." Bonny said, pointing through the few trees which stood in the way. ,,Then let's go look there." I said
