Chantico wandered around the palace, it's been a few days since Shuri and Okoye left in search to find the scientist.

"Mejor que no haga nada para hacerles daño, juro por Dios que lo mataré." (He better not do anything to hurt them, I swear to God, I will murder him.) The goddess exclaims, Xochitl and herself walking down the halls of the palace.

"Oh, como si, no harías nada para lastimarlo." (Oh, as if, you wouldn't do anything to hurt him.) Xochitl says, this caused the goddess to look over.

"After all he has done to me, I will do more than just hurt him." Chantico says as she rushes away. "Wait up!" Xochitl says as she rushes after her.

A council meeting was called, but her people did not attend, instead Chantico sat by the water. "Si estás ahí fuera, es mejor que no lastimes a nadie... porque te haré daño." (If you're out there you better not hurt anyone...because I will hurt you.) Chantico says, glaring at the water as she stands.

"In yakunaj." A voice says this caused her to turn around, her glare harshening. "¿Por qué estás aquí? No quiero verte." (Why are you here? I don't want to see you.) Chantico says as she looks at the man she fell in love with.

"Don't be like that." K'uk'ulkan says as he looks at the woman, who was currently lighting up...literally. "You abandoned me for 200 years!" She screams as she shoves him, her hands leaving a slight mark on his chest.

"In yaakunaj ma' le jach Chich." (My love not so hard) He says, this caused her to shove him harder. "Some nerve you have, leaving me for two centuries and tell me 'Not so hard', I'll show you!" She exclaims as she turns around towards the palace.

Once she turns back her arms and hands are ablaze. "Chantico..." Ku'uk'ulkan says as he looks at the woman. "Seamos racionales." (Let's be rational.) The god says, this causes Chantico to smirk as she throws a fireball at him, K'uk'ulkan diving into the ocean.

"Stay there fish boy!" Chantico exclaims, this caused K'uk'ulkan to smirk underwater as he swam back to Talokan. Chantico screams as she tugs at her hair, her annoyance to this situation was worsening and seeing him made the cycle start all over again.

Walking back towards her room was a slight struggle, her heart wanted to go back by the water and wait for him to return, while her brain had practically commanded that she goes back to her room.

But while walking she saw Okoye and Atl talking. "She demoted me." Okoye says with tears in her eyes. "I overheard, I'm so sorry." Atl says as she hugs her friend, someone who she has bonded with since they were both generals.

"But we need to find Shuri, they took her with them." Okoye says, this made Chantico's eyes widen. K'uk'ulkan took Shuri with him, and all she could do was hope they haven't hurt her. "It'll be okay, I know their tribe...they won't hurt her without any reason. Shuri never gives anyone a reason to hurt her." Atl says, herself and Okoye's growing further and further away.

"They better not have hurt her." Chantico says, walking down towards her room.

After a while, a knock emitted from her room. "Chantico?" Shuri questions, this caused the goddess to shoot up and rush over to the door, opening it.

"You had me so worried." Chantico says as she hugs the woman close, this caused Shuri to laugh. "You're always so worried about me." She says, this caused Chantico to tilt her head. "Not always, just when I need to be." Chantico says, just as a loud crash emitted from outside.

"What was that?" Chantico questions as she begins to rush out of the room. "Chantico!" Shuri shouts, but the woman wouldn't listen...she felt it in her gut that something was wrong.

"Your highness." Chantico says as she walks into the throne room, noticing how the Queen and another woman were standing there arming their forces. "Chantico, help us." Queen Ramonda says, this causes the woman to look out at their city...it was flooded.

"Are my people already out there?" Chantico questions, this causes the Queen to nod. "Good, they can stabilize the water-" The goddess stops as she takes notice of K'uk'ulkan coming swiftly towards the window.

"Oh no." Chantico says as he stabs the window, it didn't break. But the whole time he did so he didn't break eye contact with the goddess behind the queen. "Forgive me in yakunaj." K'uk'ulkan says as he throws orbs at the window.

"No!" Chantico screams as the window caves in, the glass in the room breaking. Chantico falls on her back, getting swept up in the current, the water slowly putting out the flame in her body.

When Nakia and Shuri made it back into the room, they took notice of Queen Ramonda and Riri on the surface while Chantico was still floating in the water...head down.

"Get her out!" Shuri screams as they desperately try to get Chantico out of the water, the once tan woman was now a deathly pale...her flame was dying.

Once Riri was up, they had tried for Chantico. The loss of Queen Ramonda was to be mourned, no matter how hard they tried it simply wasn't enough to wake her from her water coma. Now it was time for Chantico to awaken...but it wasn't working.

Suddenly Atl walked in with a few of her warriors. "She needs heat." She says as she holds a lighter to her, the goddess immediately catching on fire. "Oh my god. What the hell is going on?!" Riri exclaims as they all watch the body being lit on fire.

"She needs time...she needs to be alone for this process." Xochitl says as she looks at the woman, a small smile on her face. "You sound like you've done this before." Riri says, this causes Atl to smirk. "She's a goddess who's been alive for several centuries...she's done this so many times." Atl says.

Queen Ramonda's funeral had commenced, and the once throne room had turned into a place where Chantico could burn peacefully. Shuri had walked in one day, after a long day in her lab and saw K'uk'ulkan in there kneeling in front of the woman.

As much as Shuri wanted to strangle him, she remembered the note that Atl had told her. "Peace and quiet" was what she had told her.

"Puede que ya no me ames después de lo que he hecho, pero quería decirte que pase lo que pase, estaré a tu lado." (You may not love me anymore after what I have done, but I wanted to tell you that no matter what happens I'll be by your side.) K'uk'ulkan says as he looks down at the woman burning, she was no longer recognizable, she was simply ashes.

"Ashes to ashes." Atl says as she walks into the room. "Dust to dust." Xochitl says as she looks down at the goddess, kneeling down to wipe away some of the ashes. "Almost." Xochitl says.
