Chantico was slowly healing, of course this has happened...but never accompanying a dream. She walked down the path, dirt and rocks were all along it...laughter echoed through the air.

"Mija bajar desde allí." (Get down from there) A voice says, this causes Chantico to turn around and see herself walking towards her. Looking up towards a tree she sees a little girl up there, laughing happily. She seemed normal to her, but the pointed ears stuck out to her.

"Oh my god." She says as she watches the girl slowly fly down...wings on her ankles."¿Estás emocionado de ver a papá?" (Are you excited to see Dad?) The dream Chantico questions as she walks with the girl towards the beach.

Following the pair, she watches as K'uk'ulkan emerge from the water. "Amor." Dream Chantico says as she kisses him. "Cuídalo, ¿de acuerdo?" (Take care of her okay?) Dream Chantico says as she looks at their daughter, then to the god.

"Prometo." (I promise) K'uk'ulkan says as he gives dream Chantico one last kiss, before diving into the water, their daughter following while sending one last wave to her mother.

Xochitl and Atl were on the ship, holding their weapons to their sides. "Do you think she'll wake up in time?" Xochitl questions. "Knowing her, she's causing some dramatic tension to catch everyone off guard." Atl says, this causes her army to chuckle.

Chantico awakes with a gasp, ashes covered her body, thankfully a set of clothing was placed only a mere few feet away from her. "Thank you Atl." She mutters as she quickly gets dressed. Rushing out the door she couldn't help but feel stronger than ever.

The war had begun, both Chantico's kingdom and Wakanda's army were fighting side by side, but even with that they were severely outnumbered. "There's too many of them!" Xochitl shouts, but suddenly fire spread.

Chantico stood in the center, war garments on and war paint on her face. K'uk'ulkan watched as the woman fought side by side with her people, a look of pure anger on her face. This short distraction was all Shuri needed to get him in the ship.

Chantico fought side by side with Xochitl, but when a scream was heard, her people turned to where it came from. "General!" One of the soldiers' shouts. "Atl!" Chantico screams as she watches the woman drop to her knees, falling onto her side.

Namora gasps as she watches what she's done, watching the woman quickly pale. Xochitl shouted in anger as she ran to fight the woman, Chantico looking around at all the bodies slowly piling up. Her people...gone. Her best friend...gone.

Chantico refused to quit fighting, she fought for herself, she fought for her people, and she would not lose. Herself, Xochitl, Nakia, M'Baku, and others were completely surrounded by K'uk'ulkan, but suddenly the whirring of a jet emits from the air.

Looking up she sees Shuri in a Black Panther suit, and K'uk'ulkan covered in cuts. "Bejla'e' ma' wáaj k'atun!" (There will be no war today!) He shouts, this caused his army to surrender, and for Chantico and Xochitl to rush over to where Atl's body laid...dead.

"No!" Xochitl cried as she laid on the woman's chest, the impalement would prominent even through her armor. One of her men stood there. "Llévala de vuelta, todavía tenemos algunos asuntos que discutir aquí." (Take her back, we still have some business to discuss here.) Chantico says, tears slowly filling up her eyes as she watches her best friend be carried away.

Shuri jumps down and hugs the woman. "I thought you'd never be out of there." Shuri says as she smiles at her. "Neither did I, I had a... strange vision." She says as she looks at the god. "I need to speak with him in private." She says as she stares at him, him staring back at her.

Chantico and K'uk'ulkan were inside the ship, she looked at his wounds with a grimace. "¿Gato pelear mi amor?" (Cat fight my love?) She questions as she tilts her head. "Very funny." He says with a wince.

"I had a vision." She says, this causes K'uk'ulkan to look up at her. "You were in it...so was our daughter." She says, this causes his eyes to widen. "Daughter?" He questions. "It sounds insane, but somehow it'll happen." She says.

"I know it will, but if you really wanted to, we could have just done it right now." K'uk'ulkan says, his eyes darkening with a smirk on his face. "Todavía no hemos vuelto a esos términos." (We are not yet back on those terms yet.) She says as she gives a slight glare towards him.

It's been a few days, Chantico was getting ready to head back to Yucatan, so was K'uk'ulkan with his people. Xochitl was walking alongside her, her eyes puffy from crying, Chantico held her hand as they walked through the halls.

"I shall see you soon." Shuri says as she hugs both girls, attempted smiles on their faces. "You'll definitely be seeing us soon." Chantico says as she smiles. "We must go." Xochitl says as she rushes away.

Chantico rushes after her as they get on the quinjet. The two girls sat next to each other, the youngest breaking down in sobs as they both realized. As soon as they got there, they would need to hold a ceremony for Atl.

"Ella era nuestra mejor amiga." (She was our best friend.) Xochitl says as she wipes her eyes. "She was more than that, she was our sister." Chantico says as she stares ahead.

Once they were back in the mountain, lanterns were lit and Atl's body was placed on a wooden bed, her final resting place.

"Atl era nuestra hermana, nuestra general, ella ayudó a proteger a todos y cada uno de nosotros. Murió en combate, y ahora descansará en Tláloc." (Atl was our sister, our general, she helped protect each and every single one of us. She died in combat, and she will now rest in Tlaloc.) She says as one of her soldiers picked up her body, and thus began their trek through the mountains.

They made it to the very top of the mountains in which there was a hole dug out just for her. "Duerme bien mi hermana." (Sleep well my sister.) Chantico says as they place the casket gifted to them from Shuri down, opening it and placing Atl in.

"Enviamos nuestras oraciones a los dioses, para que acepten gentilmente a nuestra hermana Atl en Tláloc. Luchó con tanto valor y dio su vida por su pueblo." (We send our prayers to the gods, that they graciously accept our sister Atl into Tlaloc. She fought with such valor and gave her life for her people.) Chantico says as they lower the casket into the ground.

"Para Tepetl!" (For Tepetl!) Xochitl shouts, everyone repeats after her. "Para Atl!" (For Atl!) Chantico shouts, this becomes a chant which echoes throughout the mountains.
