"They keep stealing my goddamn lunch!" Kenny sits next to Connie and I at the library. Ken has always been picked on, he was a small kid who figure skated and hockey gave him the confidence he needed. But the Varsity is screwing with everyone.

Including my fucking brother.

Leo and I get along fine, but the whole JV vs Varsity thing has made him so much more salty. He's my brother and I love him but he's being a jerk.

"Just try to not pick a fight Ken... I know they're annoying as fuck but we will get them back." I lean back in my chair, looking around at the huge space with books lining the walls.

We sit in the back of the room where no one is, "I know. One day i'll fuck them up real good!" He crosses his arm and Connie pats him on the back.

Minutes pass and I can't help but think about Guy and Connie's little exchange last night... Did they actually date? I don't really care but i'm too curious for my own good sometimes.

"Hey Con?" I close my book, fighting with my pencil, "Can I ask you a question?"

"Hm?" she barely looks up from her textbook.

"What happened with you and Guy?" she looks up fully this time, smiling a bit.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you dated right..."

"Kinda." she shrugs, "Well it was when we were like eleven, we had crushes on eachother and our parents thought it was adorable. So 'date' is a loose term."

"Oh okay." I laugh a bit, imagining the two of them all lovey dovey as little kids.

"He was my first kiss though, happened right after we won the peewee championship." She laughs, "We're definitely not a thing anymore though- never will be. You interested?"

"No way..."

Ken laughs and hits my arm, "She doesn't do hockey guys. After Will and all." I punch him in the arm to get him to shut up, "Ow!"

Connie frowns at me, "Dickhead ex?" I nod and roll my eyes, "At least he's in the past right?" Past is a loose term... I see him almost every day, "The future is Guy!"

"No!" I laugh and out and put my head in my hands, "That will definitely not be happening! I'm people free this year. Focusing on friends."

I smile at Charlie as I pass with Chris, he's sitting in the boys dorm lounge with the blonde kid Adam, they both look pretty bummed so I walk fast.

"So she practically ripped my shirt off-"

"Chris!" I sigh as she recaps her latest hookup, I really do love her but she has no filter, especially with me, "Babe I love you but please keep the details to yourself." I throw my arm over her shoulder, We're both heading to the rink to get some practice in before lunch.

When we get there we see Guy, Luis, Dwayne, and Fulton skating. There's not much time where the rink is open for free skate but when it is not many people go.
