Wait...
I looked around for my calender. It was..

August 3rd, 2010

Of course it is my room. I live in it. Im having one of those dreams again.

"Ms. Kiokun," a voice called outside the door.
I recognized that voice.

"Juan?"
Juan was my fathers personal butler.

"Ms. Kiokun, you are starting school today."

Theres no time to worry about a dream. I have to get ready.

"I know I know. I'll be ready in two minutes. Just— just give me a sec." I lunged down out of bed, and quickly got ready. I picked out a long sleeved metal band shirt, a pair of black jeans, and black boots. I remembered that I found jewelry on the streets, so I went to my vanity.
Wait.. I don't have jewelry.. What am I thinking?
I put my hair up in a messy styled ponytail and went downstairs to eat a quick meal.

After eating, I immediately ran to the alley where I met Leo. It felt like I met him years ago, but I just met him yesterday... I think.
Its only 6:42, I've got time.
I lifted up the manhole.
"Hello?"
My voice followed through the sewers, but it echoed and bounced back to me.
I exhaled. Is no one there?
Then, I heard a familiar whisper.
"Andi? What are you doing here?"
It was Leo.
I teared up. Just looking at him, I felt.. happy. I didn't know why, but I did.
Of course I am happy to see him!! He's my friend.
"Sorry I'm just.. I'm just happy to see you. I'm going to school in a few minutes. I'll stay here until I have to go." I said, wiping off my joyful tears.
"Oh really? You said to me that you'd teach me stuff you learned in school when I tought you my ninjitsu moves. Can you teach me after you go there?"
Thats right. I did promise him that.
When me and Leo first met, he told me about Lou Jitsu and how he was learning from his movies. So, I asked him if he could teach me. He said he would, but only if I could teach him stuff I learn from school.
"Well, alright. I'll meet you here at 2 p.m, 'k?" I said, finger gunning at him.
"Sounds good! Bye!!"
"Bye!" I stood up and ran off.
I remembered the way to the elementary school, so it wasn't hard walking there. Left, left, round-about, right.
Wait.. how did I know that?? Eh I dont need to worry about it.

Ah, here we are. The school.

I walked in the halls. Everyone was staring at me. I heard the crawling whispers, lingering at the back of my ear.
I went to my homeroom class, where my fourthgrade teacher, Ms, Kailia, was waiting.

"Ms. Kiokun, why are you dressed like that?"Ms.Kailia said, narrowing her eyes at me in a mean way. "Im sorry," I said "But if you want me to change out, could you do me a favor and change your ugly face? It would be a win-win."

Oh shoot. Why did I say that?

Ms.Kailia scoffed. "How dare you say that to me? You have disrupted my class with inappropriate clothing AND behavior. You are getting lunch table cleaning duty young lady!"

I couldnt care less. I sat down in my seat, and looked out the window.

I already started the day badly. What else could go wrong?

At that very second, something went wrong.
A classmate of mine, Jaesha, spat gum on my desk.
I looked at her, smiled, got up from my seat, and shoved it in her hair.

"Ms. Kiokun!! What are you doing?" Ms. Kailia said, while Jaesha was crying her eyes out.
"This is your first warning young lady, or im suspending you for 4 weeks!"

"Better than this hell-hole." I said, walking to
my desk.

"What did you say? You know what, you're also staying in for recess!"

For years, my recklessness continued. It was winter break, grade 6, and I went to the alleyway where Leo was waiting, our usual spot. We had built a little hiding place under a trashcan at the end of the alley, so we would hang out there.

"Leo!" I shouted, running at him.

"Hey, Andi!"

Right then and there, out of nowhere, tears burst out my face. I was..

Crying?
