Amber slept through the entire class. Thomas, by the end of class, was utterly disturbed, he couldn't believe that she had gone through finding her own brother dead and making her first kill all in one night. He wanted to go up and hug her and just comfort her, but after what happened before he left to go train with the monks he didn't think that was a smart idea.

It was a chilly December morning. I was pacing back and forth in the foyer waiting for Amber to come down. I knew today was the last time I would see her for over two years. while I was pacing I looked up and saw Amber bounding down the grand staircase, her curly brown hair flying around her face. I could see in her green eyes seemed to light up when she saw me and I knew that today would be the day when I tell her how I feel.

I grabbed her arm as she headed towards the dining room. A gasp escaped her beautiful red lips, then a sigh as she realized it was just me. I spun her around so I could look into the depths of her emerald green eyes as i told her what I had been feeling for years now. I knew she would return my feelings because I see how she acts around me and how she lights up at getting to see me. A strand of hair falls into her face and I gently brush it out of her eye. As my hand lingers on her cheek, I tell her everything. It all comes out as a jumbled mess but I know she understood.

I leaned in and kissed her hard, pressing her into the wall. At first I could almost swear she was kissing me back but then all of a sudden her fist came out of no where and connected with my nose. The sound of bone crunching echoed through the hall.

Thomas strolled down the hallways to his next class, sadly he noticed Amber was no where to be seen. He was trying to figure out all of her classes so that he could get his schedule changed because he wanted to be able to watch her all the time. Thomas's knew this seemed weird and creepy but in his eyes she was perfection and he was addicted to her. The only way he knew how to win her over was to be with her all the time, and to read her thoughts and watch her dreams when he could so that he could learn what she liked and what she wanted.

The rest of the day went by at a snails speed in Thomas' opinion. He got out of his last class early so that he could race to Amber's car to try and talk to her. From Amber's parking place Thomas could hear the bell ring and knew that soon she would be here. He just wanted to apologize for his behavior and make nice and have his best friend back.

Thomas was getting nervous, what was taking her so long to get to her car. Just as this thought crossed his mind Thomas saw her walking towards the parking lot with someone. It was to far away for him to see who it was or if it was a guy. Thomas was getting more and more nervous as they approached her parking spot, but soon all his fears were put to rest becuase Amber was walking with Chrissy, her best friend.

Thomas wanted to talk to her but knew that it wouldn't happen, not with Chrissy around. Thomas unsure of what he should do sulked away from the mustang with his head hung in defeat. As he walked away he realized he lived in her house and would be able to talk to her there. Thomas raced across campus to his jeep and jumped in and whiped out of the parking lot.

Thomas got to the house before Amber which surprised him at first but then he remember she was walking with Chrissy so they must have gone to hang out. This gave him time to take a shower and then practice what he would say to her. Thomas was pacing in his room when he heard the front door creak open. He could just barely hear it because his room was as far as possible from the front door. Thomas stood in front of the mirror one last time to say his apology again. He sped through the house to meet amber before she got to her room. He found her at the top of the stairs just down the hall from her room.

" Amber I think we need to talk about what happened before I left. I know I was wrong for what I did but at the time I thought you felt the same way and now I realize that i was just imaging things. I apologize for what I did and would like for you to forgive me. I hope we can still be best friends becuase you are and will always be my best friend." Thomas drew in a deep breath and waited anxiously for her to respond. Thomas could see that she was truly surprised by this.

"Thomas, I forgive you and yes we can be friends again. But will you please get out of my way, i need to get ready for training and I'm already late. You know how much of an ass Wilkow can be when we are late." said Amber as she moved around Thomas heading into her room and slamming the door behind her.

Thomas marveled in the light as he took in what she said. Then as he thought about what he said he remembered he was to be at training as well.

"Oh shit!!" yelled Thomas, he raced to his room and threw on his gear as fast as he could. Afriad of Wilkow's wrath Thomas raced through the house running over Michael, yelling out an apology as he thudded into him.
