𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥

11-Her unwanted affirmation

Paarthvi came back from Shaila's home.It was evening when she came back home...!!

Her grandparents and mother was sitting in the drawing room.Few min later her sis-in-law came inside and offered tea and some snacks for everyone.She joined them.They all were drinking tea.
Few minutes later,her brother and father joined them.....!!

They all were chatting while her grandfather started talking about the Shekhawat family...!!

(Asha and Sharda were childhood friends,they both lived in Jodhpur.
Thn they got married in the same city Udaipur.But later Ashaa came to Shimla with her husband.)

She was wondering that why alll of a sudden they were talking about Shekhawat family and her grandma's bestie...!!

Soon Mahendra told her that the boy with whom they want her to marry is the Eldest son of the Shekhawat family..!!

Then she realised that why did they offered her a very expensive gift specifically at a very casual meeting.
She took a deep breath and sighed because now she knew that why both of them (Rajnath and Sharda)
was asking,correction,interrogating her.She realised that they were not just curious,they were seeing her as their daughter-in-law while she was thinking that they were dear relatives of her grandmaa who just wanted to know her..!!!!

After half and hour later she knew evrything about this Shekhawat family.She,somehow,know them as they are famous in the country but she admires Mrs Ragini Singh Shekhawat the most because she is a very strong lady who built her career after marriage and she could be the role model to any young girl....!!!

She was in her deep thoughts when her grandfather askd her what she has decided or if she needs more time...
They can give her more time if she wants..!!

"I'm ready grandpa...!!!!!!
I'll marry him.!!!" ,She said.(in a firm tone)

Evryone in the drawing room were really happy after hearing this.

Her brother was not much happy after listening her answer as he ,now,know that the groom is much older thn her and he met him in a meeting and he was really strict and rude so he decided that he will talk to her sister about this..

Her grandma just hugged her after hearing her affirmation to the wedding.
She askd her husband to show her the pictures of him and she started describing Ranvijay.

Paarthvi told her grandmaa that she trust her family and she dsnt need to see the groom.(in her mind she was thinking that he is older thn me i dont want to regret after seeing his picture now I already said yes to the wedding so nothing will change.Its really tiresome sometimes to be a dutiful daughter who loves her family and can sacrifice anything for them)

She stood up and went towards her room aftr telling her family members that she is tired now and want to take rest for sometime......!!!!

While her grandparents and parents was thinking that she is being shy so they didn't say anything to her and let her leave....!!!!
(Silly them)

After getting back she changed her clothes and she went towards her desk and started writing her journal...!!!
She writes everyday..!!!!
She started writing in her journal,,,,,

Independence or freedom
These words always seem very strange for me.Evryone used to think or still think that I got freedom of everything.They think that they have given me enough freedom but in reality it was the opposite.
Inner me nevr got this freedom.
I'm not blaiming or accusing my family,deep inside I know that they care about me they love me . All the love they have for me comes with a lot of expectations in return and it increases as you grow old ,specially when you are a girl of a reputed family...
These are the  kind of responsibilities where you feel responsible for evrything around you and feel that everyone's happiness is belongs to your decision or how you act..
I've nevr been this much free where I can take the decision just for my own happiness...!!!
It is also true that I've never regretted anything that I have sacrificed for my family..!!!!
Now I'm going to be a daughter-in-law.This title came along with a heavy responsibilities.
God please guide me in this new journey of my life.....
Give me your blessings too I really need them now....!!!!❤️

She closed her diary and put it back in the closet..While she was putting it back her sister-in-law came inside the room....!!

Mrinali was a like elder sis to her with whom she can talk any serious issues.She always gives her the right advice...!!

Mrinali askd her about her decision.
She told her that she was confused but she wants the happiness of her family.
Mrinali told her that she should follow her heart and now she has accepted the wedding proposal so she shouldn't overthink.Now when she agreed she should just think about positive outcomes.She hugged her and told her that she will be always there for her whenever she will need her.
Both of them hugged each other and soon they went downstairs for dinner.......!!!!

At the dinning tabele evryone was really happy.After having their dinner they all retired to their rooms..
Paarthvi came back in her room she was sitting on her couch when her brother and came inside.
Both of them were really upset by her decision...

Rudra said, "Sona I'm really disappointed in you.Without even meeting or knowing who is the guy, how can you decide your future just for the sake of others..
Is this what your brother taught you????
Do you even know he is of my age???
How can you be so silly ???
Beta it's your life and you are going to live it,not anyone else so you should think about it.."

Paarthvi replied, "Bhai, don't worry I've thought about it.
And if I will not accept it still i would feel bad because I cnt see dadimaa (grandma) upset.
You know how much she adores the grandson of her best friend.
And you know I've met his grandparents they were really polite and loving towards me so I think they will take care of me.
As for him I think I will manage bcz I'm not that weak.....!!
And eventually one day ill hv to marry someone so why not him...
I'm giving it a chance....
As for age-gap our parents and grandparents also have but still they managed..
All I hope that he will respect me thts all I need from him in this wedding ....!!!!!

Rudra told her , "Sona, sometimes you talk like mom.And my little sister is a grown up woman now and your brother is so proud of you...!
Still sona don't hurry in this decision take some more time...!!
And always remember that you have a older brother who loves you the most so you don't need to hide anything from me I will always support you without asking anything.
Promise me Sona that you will come to your brother whenever you will need anything in life....!!!!

Paarthvi replied, "promise bhai..!!!"

She was crying so she hugged him tightly.His brother hugged him kissed her forehead and went outside..

Thts it for today...!!!!!!!
I don't know if you guys can relate this feeling when you feel responsible for evrything.....when your family have too much expectations from you without even knowing when they give you too much pressure without even realising that what they are doing to you.
They sometimes suffocate you with their expectations....
Its the worst feeling ever when you find you priorities other's feelings as your responsibility...Eventually when you grow old you started feeling that you don't have any hopes or happiness in your life xcpt making your family happy......!!!!!
