47-Surprise

Paarthvi's P.O.V-:

Few family members went to the temple,I really wanted to go with them but I decided to stay here because of his birthday and I'll have to prepare something special for my husband.

I was waiting for kabeer and kaashu they didn't come back from college yet.
So,I just sat in the drawing room and few minutes later they came .
We all were sitting there when my mother in law came from her work and soon my father in law came too.

I asked one of the maid to make coffee for evryone.After freshen up,they also sat beside us and I asked all of them about how their day went.

It was dinner time, so I called all of them to have dinner.Evryone was sitting there at the dining table except my dear husband.We started having our dinner soon we were done eating and they all went to their room.

I was sitting in the drawing room because I was waiting for him while my mother in law came there and she sat beside me.To be honest I used to admire her a lot but after hearing all of that,I started disliking her, I can understand that she was young but still how can a person be this much heartless towards her own child.

"What are you doing here all alone?"
She questioned me while sitting there.

I replied, "Nothing Mom, I was just getting bore and I was waiting for my husband."

She changed her expressions I was looking at her.
"Well I can see that you are not happy here, I mean my son doesn't show any interest in his marriage life.It must be hard for you since he doesn't give attention towards you?" she said in a tone that was looking like she was concerned or may be  pretending to have concerned.

"Nope everything is fine between us and as u can see he is really busy with work so I can't blame him afterall he gt this attitude from you,Mom.
He is as ambitious as you so I think I'll have to be as patient as my father-in-law."
I replied her with a smile and I could sense her guilt from her face.Soon, she faked a smile at me and went away without saying anything.

As I get up and turned to move,I saw him standing there, I don't know but after looking at his face I could sense the happiness.
I smiled at him and asked about dinner and he told me that he had his dinner in an official party.So,both of us went inside our room.

He changed his clothes and went to the study room I was startled seeing that so I also followed him to the study room and when he noticed he questioned me raising his brows , "What are you doing."

"What are you doing?And why are you going there?" I questioning him without answering his question.

"I'll have to work since Rishi is in the hospital and i don't want to disturb you it's quite late so I'm going to the study room." he replied genuinely and for the first time in this marriage I find generosity in his behaviour.
I really wanted to give him a kiss but then I controlled my emotions and told my heart that pighalna nahi hai itni jaldi.

"It's okay you can work in our room and apke is generous act k reward me mai apke liye ek cup special coffee banake laati hu just wait." I told him as I was happy so I went to the kitchen and made a cup of special coffee for him.

Soon, I came back in my room I gave him coffee he grabbed it but he didn't look at me he eyes were placed on the laptop,it was annoying tbh but then I consoled myself because he has lot of work I could see that.

Soon he started sipping and I was looking at him in hope that he would tell me how was it but when he drank he didn't utter a single word and that was annoying for me so I asked him how was the coffee and he just nodded in reply that made me more irritated 😤 so I snatched the cup from his hands and he gt startled and looked at me in disbelief.
