Chapter 22

Siri's  POV

We did it. We finally connected for the last time and it was almost perfect.

Almost.

If it weren't for the fact that he's getting married then it would have been perfect.

We made it back to the guys as if nothing happened between us but I knew he felt guilty. I could see it in his eyes. But there's not much else I can do to make him change his mind about getting married.  What more can I do after confessing my love for him?

It's up to him now.

I swam again, playing with Taehyung, Jimin and Hobi, having water fights.

We went back to the campsite and tonight Tae, Jimin and I get to be in the cabin while the others will be in tents. This is perfect as those two wanted me to spend my last night with them.

We were by the campfire, Taehyung was on a camping chair while I was on the ground between his legs. He had his arms wrapped over my shoulder and his head leaning on my head. Jimin was sitting on the ground facing me, he and I sat criss-crossed.

Jimin was making some smores for us as he was closer to the fire and when one was ready, he blew on it, gave me a bite, then Taehyung a bite, and finally took the last bite for himself.

JH: "You three are adorably cute together!"

"We know" The three of us said at the same time, making everyone chuckle at us, even Jungkook. I know he liked that I had Taehyung and Jimin to comfort me because he couldn't.

JH: "I need to take another photo of you guys. Keep doing what you're doing. I want a candid shot!"

Y: "You guys ever thought about going poly together?"

Taehyung and I shook our heads but Jimin...

JM: "I've actually thought about it but I don't think it would work. Not if one person has their heart somewhere else and another doesn't want to commit to anyone just yet."

Both Taehyung and I froze for a moment and looked at Jimin wide eyed.

Jimin chuckled and shrugged. "Don't look at me like that, you two.   It's ok.  It was only a fleeting thought. I'm happy as is." He gave us his pretty eye smile then pecked me on the lips and flicked Tae's forehead lightly.

JH: "Aww, that's so sweet!" We giggled at Hobi gushing over us. "Do that again! I want a photo!"

Taehyung, Jimin and I were in the cabin getting ready for bed. I was first to hop into a bed that was on the far left, Jimin coming into the one I was in.

There were 3 beds that weren't too big, enough for two people so I assumed Taehyung would be sleeping on the middle bed.

Taehyung was still doing his nightly routine while Jimin and I were getting cosy together. Jimin laid on his back, I was to his left side, snuggled up to his chest while he had his left arm hung over my shoulder.

JM: "You could come stay with us tomorrow night at the hotel you know? Tonight doesn't have to be the last night."

Siri: "I don't think that's a good idea Chim. You all will be doing wedding rehearsal stuff with Kookie since you're his groomsmen. Plus... I don't really want to see his fiancée. And I also have to set up and get my video gear ready for the wedding I'm doing."

Jimin sighed, "He's making a huge mistake marrying her. He should be with you. He's loved you since uni days too. He was just too chicken shit to say anything."
