    Steven discovers the reason why his body was reacting to his powers in such dramatic ways while he was traveling, it was starting to give unbearable pain. 
    His organic half was failing, would he die? 
    Fortunately not, although the pain from his physical form caused his gem to fall loose and eventually fall out, as a result Pink Diamond was now free to roam the Galaxy again.
