I got out to the cold air of September in a black and white short sleeve shirt and a baggy prada pant and a brown furry jacket.
My hair was pulled pinned in place with my black hair clip. I tucked it behind my ear as a ghastly wind blew.
I looked up to see Carson sitting on the hood of the car. He was in a big black hoodie with the hood over his head.
And a blue ripped jean and a black Nike. He was staring up at the sky... like nothing at all.
The argument in the house this past few days have been crazy, he had a fight with his dad and it didn't end well at all.
He even threatened to disown him, Chloe fell sick because she refused to eat until she had sundae.
Yeah, it's been a crazy week
I walked towards him, he had his hands in his pocket. The only thing white on him was his hair sticking out of the hood.
He looked down at me with a bored look. We both got our 'come across attitude'
"You know I've talked to everyone in this house and you're the one I barely relate to" I said.
"I'm thankful" He mumbled looking back up at the sky.
I was tired of arguing and keeping enemies. I wanted to make this work.
I sighed. "Let's start this all again. Hi, I'm Charlotte" In introduced myself. He glanced at me and back at the sky.
Don't blow up, Charlotte
"Look, I'm tryna to make an effort here. I'm trying to be nice, something you weren't when we first met"
"Then stop trying" He took his hands off his pocket and jumped down the car in front of me.
I didn't move back, I stood my ground and got a closer look at his features. He was staring back.
Just as I was about saying something. He turned around and got into the car.
Why must he be so weird?
A loud horn cut me off my trance. I sighed and headed for the car, just as I got in.
He threw few pills in his mouth and capped the bottle back before swerving out of the surrounding.
What was that about?
I wanted to ask questions but he didn't seem like he was in the mood to be pissed off.
I buckled my seat belt and looked out of the window.
***
He pulled up in the parking lot this time. I sighed and tried unbuckling my seat belt but it was stuck.
"What the fuck?... don't do this to me" I mumbled as I tried getting it off.
But then I felt cold hands on mine. I backed away Immediately as he leaned in to help me. I just stared at his hair, I wanted to touch it.
I felt my heart banging in my chest, could he hear it? What if he-
The seatbelt snapped open, before I could say a thank you my door was pulled open.
I looked up and it was Mason, he helped me out. Carson slammed the door close.
"Hey" Mason called out to him, he turned to us. Eyes lingering on me before he gave him a curt nod and walked out.
I turned to Mason. "So, y'all left me in bed"
"I thought Chloe went to wake you up"
"Of course, she didn't. She came to my room, took my phone, took pictures of she eating a lobster and used my phone till it died and placed it back... without charging!" I exclaimed and he laughed.
