“I can't believe this sleepover is still on” I said. “Better believe it, bitch!” Bianca yelled, falling back on my bed.
It's Saturday and here I was...still sitting in my underwear. I just woke up!
And the girls were already here for the sleepover. “Jayson told me about last night” Harley brought up and I fell back on the bed with a sigh.
“I hate it when the boys fight. You'd never see Carson and Austin fight...”
“Birds of the same feather...” Bianca mumbled. “Well, I talked to him. He shouldn't have said that to him. Carson is just going through a phase, it happens. It happened to Austin at some point”
“Really?” I asked, turning to her. “Yeah, but it wasn't as extreme as this” she sighed. “I hope they make up” I looked back up at the ceiling.
I hoped so too. “Okay, can we get this sleepover started?!” Bianca yelled.
“Yes!”
I groaned, placing a pillow over my face. “I just woke up...” I whined. “Yeah, put on some pants, girl. It's 9am” Bianca said, smacking my ass lightly.

I walked down the stairs and saw Mason on the couch, I wanted to sneak up on him but he just glanced back to see me, I was this close.
“Seriously?” my hands fell beside me in disappointment. He chuckled. “Okay, let's do it again”
I squealed and ran back, he pretended to be on his phone, I sneaked up behind him and said...
“Boo!”
He screamed and fell down from the couch, I laughed my ass out. “Was that convincing enough?” he asked getting up and I rounded the couch to him.
“Oscar awarding” he chuckled and pulled me closer. "How's your night?” he asked.
“Good...” I looked down at his arms expecting to see tattoos but there was none.
Oh, that's Carson.
Wait! What was that? Why did I think it's Carson? Why was I imagining myself with him? This was from that dream...
“Get a room!” Chloe yelled, walking past. What did I do to this kid?
Carson's POV
I can't believe the party still pulled through. Guess I don't owe the guys that shit anymore, I gulped from my glass, looking at the crowded room.
I only accepted for them to throw a party because I needed to get my mind occupied, I needed reasons to not go back home.
I needed a distraction.
I gulped from my glass again. Curse myself for being intolerant to alcohol.
It sucked at times like this.
Running away from responsibilities? That's a new one
“Hey baby” I looked up to see Melissa heading my way. That's my cue...to leave. “I've been looking around for you” I managed to hear her over the loud music.
I ignored her and took another gulp from my glass. “Oh, you can't ignore me” she crossed her hands over my neck.
“What's up?” I looked away, she leaned in closer. “The cold shoulder? Come on, I own every inch of you”she winked before moving away.
"We'll talk later" with that she walked away.
I let out a sigh before finishing the content in the glass. My phone beeped, looking down at it, text from Austin.
