Surya pov :
I'm waiting outside the play school of my princess mini ( 3 years old) . She saw me ran towards me squealing "appaaaaaa....!!" And throw herself in my embrace. I lifted her in my arms, she wrapped her hand around my neck . We then walked towards my car and placed her in the toddler seat that attached to the back seat and fastened the seat bealt. I hoped to driver seat and start my driving.
Mini : appa!! ( in whisper)
Surya : yes baby ( I too replied in whisper)
Mini : I have a secret to tell!
Surya : what's that baby??
Mini looked left and right, I watched this through rear view mirror and chuckled at her antics.
Mini : today Mary told me that, she saw her mom and dad...
Surya : mom and dad.. I panicked what she is going to tell next.
Mini : she saw her mom and dad sleeping hugging each other. She said that they looked cute in that.
I relieved a long sigh
Surya : that's sweet right!!
Mini : yes!!... But.... She trailed
Surya : but...
Mini : did you and mom sleep like that? Can I have a chance to see that?
I taken aback by her question
Surya : ....
Mini : tell me appa!! Can I... She whined
Surya : mini baby.. Aheemm... You know... You know right... Mom is a shy person...
Mini : yes... Amma very shy shy !! She chuckled thinking her mom.
Surya : so she feel shy when you see us.
Mini : but appa...amma will sleep that time know how will she know that?
I don't know how to answer this.
Surya : mini you want to see me and amma sleeping hugging each other
Mini : yes!! Can I ....can I....her eyes sparkled
Surya : you can't see that in real but I can show you a photo of that.
Mini : really??
I pulled up the car in side of the road and unlock my phone to show the picture of us sleeping. I took that pic in a memorable night. I showed that picture to my daughter and she saw that like a wonder.
Mini : tomorrow I will say to Mary that my parents are the cutest when they sleep.
I smiled at her words cause everyone looking us will say that . Suddenly reality hit him. If she came to know that I showed a picture of us, definitely I'm dead.
Surya : mini... Don't tell this to Amma!
Mini : why?
Surya : you know the reason, cause she feel shy and embarrassed.
Mini didn't think why should her mom feel embarrassed when their own daughter see the picture of them sleeping. So she accepted that.
Mini : yes!! Amma will become shy!! But what can I get in return for not telling this to amma?
Surya in mind : like mom like daughter!!hmm...what do you want?
Mini : chicken nuggets!!
Surya : but you should have to ask amma's permission.
Mini make a chick beakkie like pout, cause her amma not allow her to have junk foods and she also know that I won't buy her any junk food without mom's consent.
Surya : No.. No.. Don't pout baby!! I can't kiss your pout right now!
Mini : okay!! Can you give me your phone!
I gave my phone to her and start to drive the car. Mini typed her mom's number and put the phone in her ears but there is no use for that cause the phone is connected to car speaker. After 3 rings yamini attend the call.
Mini : Ammmaaa!!.... She screamed
Yamini : bunbun.......!! She also screamed in response!
Mini : amma!! Can mini have chicken nuggets.
Yamini : but you have to promise me that you will eat boiled veggies in your dinner!
She ordered in sweet and soft voice .
Mini : promise!!
Yamini : are you sure bunbun? Cause promises are ...
Mini : not be fake..
Yamini : yes!!
Mini : amma!! Mini promise that she will eat veggies in her dinner!!
Yamini : that's my bunbun!! She said that in baby voice.
Mini : that's my Amma!! She too said that in same voice and that earned a giggle from yamini. One sec my heart skipped a beat, yamini giggles are honey to my ears.
Yamini : come home soon!! Bye bye!!
Mini : bye amma!! Mini and appa love you!!
Yamini didn't tell anything in response and the call was disconnected.
Mini : amma gave permission to mini!!
Surya : ok!!
They have nuggets at "McD" And make their way to their home. Surya parked the car in front of the mansion and carry mini and her belongings in his arm. He enter the mansion.
Mini : we are home!! She announced
Yamini got out from her room by the sound.
Surya placed mini in her feet and she run towards her amma!! Yamini secured her In her arms and peppered her with kisses.
Surya : ok!! Apa nan kelamburen!! Tata mini.
Mini : appa can't you sleep over here?
Surya : no baby!! Appa have lots of work in office. So I can't sleep here.
Mini : always work...work...work... Hmm!! Ok come home quickly! Mini and amma miss you and love you.
Mini said that wiggled her out from yamini's hold and moved to her room.
My eyes met with yamini's, there is no emotions in it. She break the contact and left that place leaving me alone. I sighed and walked back to my car after all I'm the reason behind this.
My one decision flipped my life upside down.
What decision?? To know that Wait for part 2!!
