Carrie's POV
I felt myself being shaken away but I couldn't seem to get myself to emerge from bed. "Carrie," I heard someone whisper. I was buried under the covers, moaning and trying to squirm away from the poking hands. "Carrie it's half past eleven," his voice spoke louder. I groaned, wiggling my way up the bed and out of the covers. I poked my head out, squinting when the light hit my eyes.
"Where am I?" I asked, rubbing the sleep from my eyes.
"You're at our hotel. Remember last night?" he asked, holding out a glass of orange juice to me. I kindly took it, nodding my head.
"Mmhmm. Thanks," I uttered in my rasp sounding morning voice. I clenched my head, wondering why my head is pounding like a million drums. "My head is killing me," I whimpered, rubbing my temple. He took the glass from me and I brought my other hand up to rub the other side.
"Are you alright? Maybe you need to eat?" he suggested. I nodded, agreeing and getting out of bed slowly. "I can get you some aspirin I have in my bag. Do you think it'll help?"
"Let's try the food first. It could be a hunger headache," I wobbled, trying to walk toward the door. He held onto my shoulders to steady me and keep me balanced. "Thanks."
"No problem. I kind of forgot to mention to Anna and Luke you came last night. You were too buried under the covers for anyone to see. I thought you left until I saw the blankets move up and down at a steady pace," he laughed. Once we made it out, I saw Anna and Luke side by side making breakfast while two other guys were propped up on barstools. I stopped in my tracks, causing Michael to come to a halt as well. "What's wrong?"
"Who are those two?" I asked in a hushed whisper.
"My other two bandmates. The one with a bun is Ashton and the one with black hair is Calum. They're harmless. No need to be scared," he comforted.
"Sorry, I'm just. I'm out of it this morning," I apologized. He said it was okay and we continued to walk to the kitchen.
"Morning," Michael said to the two sitting on the stools. They muttered a good morning and went back to being on their phones. "Guys look who I ran into last night, again may I add, when I was out for a smoke," he said catching their attention. All four of them snapped their heads to me and I gave a curt smile and a small wave.
"Hi," I mewled. Anna dropped her spoon covered in pancake batter to the floor and Luke groaned.
"Babe come on," he whined. I laughed as the giant went to pick it up. "It got on my shoes," he complained.
"Carrie!" Anna chirped, ignoring her boyfriend. She made a bee line toward me and gave me a hug, startling me. "You're here! How did you find us?"
"I was wandering around last night and ended up bump—actually, he bumped into me this time. I agreed to stay with you guys for a while after he convinced me to. That is, if you're all okay with it?" I asked slowly. They nodded and Anna finally released me. Luke set the bowl down and came to give me a hug. "Hey," I greeted as he mumbled a 'hi.'
