AUTHORS NOTE: I have never been to the restaurant mentioned in this chapter so I have no clue if they serve the dishes I wrote BUT I am Peruvian and these are some of my favorite dishes that I've grown up with. ALSO, I'malarriesoz. But since this is a fic with het!harry, I thought I'd keep Eleanor in the plot until the time comes that they do break up. Bear with me.
Papa la huancaina is an appetizer that's made up of sliced baked or boiled potatoes and this spicy cream cheese sauce that has yellow aji paste in it to give it a spicy kick and yellow color.
Causa is the "Peruvian version of Sheppard's Pie' as my mom says. It's mashed potatoes with yellow 'aji' (chilies) paste so it gives it this yellow color and spicy flavor (also used in the dish listed above) and there's either tuna or shredded chicken in the middle.
Lomo Saltado is chunks of steak sautéed in red wine sauce, tomatoes, onions and garnished with cilantro and it's mixed with French fries and paired with rice.
Lomo la huancaina is the steak I said above just instead of rice and French fries, it's with pasta that is drenched in papa la huancaina sauce. Really really good and now I'm craving it.
Civiche is, actually you may know what this is. It comes in many different versions but the version in this chapter is just a seafood mix. It's a fresh seafood mix that has Peruvian corn, onions, lemon juice, and sometimes avocado if you want to get fancy.
On to the drinks, Chicha Morada is this purple corn drink that's boiled to perfection with the rind of a pineapple to give it an added flavor. This is served as an iced drink and sometimes has diced apples in it. It's really really reaaaaalllyyy refreshing especially on a hot summers day. Be careful when you drink this shit, it'll stain fucking everything. BUT, it's a really pretty color so who cares? JOKING ON THE WHO CARES PART BECAUSE IT WILL FUCK YOUR SHIT UP IF IT SPILLS.
Inca Kola is Peru's version of Coca Cola pretty much. It's super fizzy and yellow in color. It's made from lemongrass but it tastes like bubble gum. It's called the yellow devil with tourists because of all the caffeine and how strong the carbonation is but don't let that stop you trying it.
Pisco Sour... well, I can't tell you much about that so I'm just going to use google. But it's a blended alcoholic drink my sister made at the house one time when she came back from Peru. According to her, my dad, and my brother, it's strong as fuck. I'll tell you, the preparation is really fuckin' weird and sounds absolutely disgusting but hey, in Harry's famous last words, "Don't knock it 'till you try it!" On with google! Pisco Sour itself is clear brandy that you mix with lime juice, a tablespoon (warning kids, this is where it gets weird on the disgusting level) of egg white , 1 ½ ounces of simple syrup, aka sweetener. Again, this drink sounds really weird but I hear people, including members of my family, love this.
On with the story.

Caroline's POV
I woke to the feeling of warmth. Excessive warmth may I add. Anna's legs were overlapping mine and on each side of me, Calum and Niall were snuggled up to my side. I tried to wiggle myself out of the sweaty embrace, Anna quickly swinging her legs off and snuggling up to her boyfriend that was laying face down on the floor. I rubbed the tiredness away from my eyes and sat up, accidentally waking Calum in the process. "Shit, you okay?" he grumbled, rolling over. I nodded and told him to go back to sleep. I looked to the patio and the sun was barely out. Niall rolled over without noticing I was getting up and I looked around the room. I noticed Michael's red hair on the couch with Harry lying on the ground next to it. Well, maybe I should try to sleep again. But then again, food sounds lovely. I got up fully and walked into the kitchen to find myself toast. As quietly as I could, I rummaged through the fridge to find jam. I found a few packets of spreadable grape jelly and grabbed a few. I shoved the bread into the toaster and peaked in the living room to make sure I haven't disturbed anyone. Thankfully, they were all still sleeping. Jumping at the pop of the toaster, I widened my eyes. No one seemed to hear so I tiptoed back to the kitchen and grabbed the bread. Thoughts of what I was going to wear to the ball flooded through my brain. I couldn't seem to remember when the day of the ball was and I made a mental note to ask Anna when she woke up. I munched on my early morning snack before going to the bathroom to take a shower. I hadn't even noticed the time until I got out, this time with smooth legs and underarms, thankfully. It had just turned 8 AM when I stepped out, changing into a camisole and sweatpants. I dug my phone out from my carryon bag and turned it on. With less than half of the battery, messages flooded in from multiple people ranging from my dad to Tony and even my phone carrier saying I was eligible for an upgrade. Yay! And when I read the message from Tony, I smiled. I wanted to text him back but I realized that I had no idea what to say to him. I pouted, making a mental note to come up with something to say in regards to me being off radar for almost two years. I put my wet hair up into a towel quickly and went back out only to be met with a groggy Niall at the bathroom door. I would have crashed into him if it weren't for his reflexes of grabbing my shoulders. He chuckled at the towel on my head.
