DISCLAIMER: I have never been inside the nice guy and if you have or have any reference pictures (I couldn't find any.) I would love to see them to get a feel of what I'm lookin' at. I'm pretty much winging it :) I've looked at pictures on their site and didn't find any reference on what the inside looks like.

Carrie's POV

I could hear the shrill shriek of my screams but I couldn't wake up. It was a never ending nightmare as I relived the horrible memory that haunts me in my sleep. I remember why I barely slept; it was to avoid these dreams. My heart was pounding in the constriction of my chest, and my breathing was as shallow as it was that night. The hot tears pouring down my cheeks like rain drizzling from the sky, the harsh pain ached the same way it did when it happened. It stung, it burned and it fucking hurt like a motherfucker. I could feel my crying turn into sobs but I couldn't wake up from this god-awful dream. I was living the nightmare once again and I can't shut it out. I was trembling, or so I thought, but it was only someone frantically shaking me awake. I screamed anyway, scared by the mini movie playing in my brain that haunted my tired eyes.

"Carrie!" he called out. My vision was blurry so I couldn't make out the face but I recognized the bright color of the hair. I sat up quickly, all the blood rushing down my body causing my head to spin. Fuck. "Carrie, you're okay. It's just a bad dream," he cooed gently. I sniffled loudly, trying to adjust to my surroundings. I rubbed my eyes and at the same time he rubbed my back to comfort me. My eyes felt swollen as they normally do after I've cried. My heart was still pounding and my breathing was finally coming to a slow. "It was a dream, Care. You're okay," he gave a light smile. I was dead inside. I wasn't okay and I didn't know how long it was going to take me to get use to that. I got up in one swift movement and threw myself into his arms, hugging him bone-crushingly tight. He returned the hug, reaching down to nuzzle his face into the crook of my neck. "Do you want to talk about it?" he asked in a whisper as if his words could cut me like a jagged shard of glass to my neck. I shook my head no into his chest with a faint "nuh uh," leaving my lips. I could feel his shirt become damp from my tears and I pulled away.

"Thank you," I said, wiping my runny nose. "Sorry about your shirt," I laughed lightly. He shrugged in response before putting his hands up on my shoulders, looking me in the eye.

"Are you sure you're okay? You don't want to talk about it?" he asked me. I shook my head frantically and declined his offer. "Alright well I'll be here if you need someone to talk to. Or just want an annoying human for company," he added jokingly. I laughed and he wiped the last of my tears away from my eyes. He kissed the top of my head and walked out of the room. I sat back down on the couch, wondering where everyone had gone off to. I noticed the clock on the wall and it read 10:24 AM. Michael had popped back in and said that breakfast was being started in the main house where Anna, her parents and everyone else was waiting. I nodded and told him I was just going to freshen up.

"I brought you a cold spoon," he started. I furrowed my brows in confusion. "Press them on the bottom of your eyes and splash with cold water. It should bring down the puffiness," he said, bringing me the spoon. I graciously took it from him and he patted my head. I watched him walk out before I found the bathroom and a mirror and pressed the cold metal up to my eyes. I sighed at coolness and switched it from my left to my right eye. I set it down on the bathroom counter and turned on the faucet. My hands ran through the ice cold water and I bent over to splash my face as he instructed me. I could feel the swelling of my eyes go down slightly. Once I was done, I patted my face dry with the hand towel and sighed heavily once again. I walked out, finding my phone on the couch with no notifications on it. I took it in my hand and made my way to the main house. I walked into the kitchen to be greeted with "good mornings" all around the table, making me return them. I noticed that Niall and Harry weren't present which made me wonder where they went. Michael waved at me from the table after he looked up from his phone. 'You okay?' he mouthed at me. I nodded in response and gave him a thumbs' up.
