Reaction to Luffy

Despair

The room was silent. They could feel something happening.

"What is that...?" Shanks murmured. Rayleigh heard him. He looked at the red head, then back down. He felt something too.

"Huhu...hu..." The devil laughed. It looked like he tried to sustain it, but to no avail. Nami was sitting quietly on her seat. Brook wanted to play something on his violin, but he felt like the time was bad. Robin was holding the exhausted Chopper. He was crying so much. Franky was sitting leaning his back onto the wall. Zoro had his arms crossed and eyes closed. Sanji was munching on his cigarette. Usopp was cleaning his slingshot.

"Then..." Bell whispered. He walked slowly to the projector. From the box he took out...a disk. It looked weird. Normally you would see some colours on it, but...there was nothing. The disk was so blank that if you had been looking at it for too long you would get lost in it. He put it inside the projector and it slowly swallowed the disk. People didn't see it, that's why they were shocked seeing the screen lit up.

"You promised me?!" Voice sounded through the darkness.

"L-Luffy?" Sabo murmured. Ace's eyes widened. He heard that before...that scream.

"That you won't die!" Some seagulls flew...then two boys sitting on a hill. "Didn't you?!" Everyone's eyes widened now. The screen showed Ace's face, covered in blood.

Luffy was looking down at something...'ASCE'.

"He stormed through the war to save Ace..." Someone said, the scene before them almost took out their lives. Ace lying on the ground with a smile...clearly dead.

Hands. Hands covered in blood and Luffy's trembling body.

The shock was unbelievable.

"Oi." Ace suddenly said to the devil. He glanced at him from his seat. "What do you think you're doing?..." He frowned and clenched his teeth. Sabo looked at his brother. Then Bell smiled.

"I will show you...true despair." He said. The words made people shiver.

"Oi! Freak!" Zoro exclaimed. He was ready to draw his swords.

"It's no use...you'll need to get through this." The devil shrugged. He was clearly enjoying it.

"But he lost Ace right before his eyes." Again someone said.

People who knew only frowned.

"What?..." Roger added his word. Rayleigh surprised him by putting his hand on the man's shoulder. "Ray...?" He was confused. Rayleigh only shook his head. The Pirate King sweatdropped, but he looked back at the screen.

"While I didn't even known what was happening!" Her voice was trembling. After what she said, Luffy started to cry...but the cry didn't produce any tears. They were the true tears of despair and broken heart.

"L-Luffy...?" Ace whispered. He was dead at that moment Luffy cried. He wanted to punch himself for making his little brother break down.

"Straw Hat-ya..." Law said.

"Luffy-kun..." Rayleigh was wiping his eyes from the tears that almost fell down.

The scene before them was so saddening.

"E-" Someone squeaked. It was Usopp, he touched his face. He was crying. Nami looked at him and in her own eyes, tears started to form and fall down.

"Luffy..." Chopper was sitting on Robin's lap and crying into her shirt. She was caressing his back, but she saw her hand tremble too. Zoro and Sanji were looking at the scene before them, they couldn't cry...because they wanted to be brave and reliable for the crew. They were their captains' hands, damnit!
