Mario and Godzilla: City On The Edge Of Battle

Reunion

Mario wakes up after hours of unconsciousness. He coughs up, feeling some sort of dust on his mouth. Somehow, he feels more comfortable than earlier, as if he's not in the debris of the last attack. He finds himself in a blanket, and checks his surroundings. It looks like the wooden inside of a house, he thought. He then gets up, and sees a bunch of pots, before checking himself. He then realizes that he's breathing.

Mario: Wait, I can still breath. (Moves his arms a bit) Okay, I can still move. Where am I? This looks like a human's house. How did-? Never mind that, I should check my surroundings.

Mario looks into his sensor, seeing there's no connection.

Mario: Wireless communication. (Groans) I guess i should be heading out now.

Mario grabs his suit, puts it back on, and begins heading for the door.

Mario: It seems this place is neither Heaven nor Hell. 

As Mario was about to leave, a girl opens it. She had green eyes, and white hair. She suddenly gasps and then leaves, closing the door, leaving Mario wide eyed. He sees what she drops, and recognizes it as food.

Mario: Could it be?! Humanity survived?!

He sees the woman going up, climbing the stairs.

Mario: Wait! Please wait! Hey! Where you going?!

Mario goes up, before looking around, seeing the fog doesn't descend for some reason.

Mario: Huh, that's weird. Oh! Wait!

He continues climbing up until reaching the strong grass again. He looks around the area, before seeing the woman.

Mario: Hey! Wait, I need to ask something!

He tries to follow her, but she goes into the woods. He tries to follow her, wanting to ask her something.

Mario: How can she survive in this atmosphere? Maybe for 20,000 years, we eventually adapted. I can't believe some humans still lived on Earth! Why didn't Bowser tell me- (stops) Bowser never said anything about humans still living on earth. Wait, dammit. I lost her. Besides that, I need to report to the Aratrum somehow. Wait, maybe the landing ship's communicator.

Mario checks his sensor for a landing ship communicator, and finds the direction of a landing ship.

Mario: Okay, it only knows the direction.

Mario begins heading that direction, not knowing the woman is still following him, curious about him as much as he's curious about her. As he heads to the ship, he begins to worry about the rest.

Mario: I wonder where Luigi, Daisy, and Bleck are at. And Yoshi, Bowser, Grodus, Wario and the others. I'm sure they survived somehow, plus I have some questions for Bowser....
