Sleepy: What do ya mean the portal's gone?

Doc: I mean it's gone. It's closed. It's not there anymore!

Bashful: How'd that happen?

Doc: I don't know. But it has something to do with that Grumpy.

Sleepy: What in tarnation is he up to?
Grumpy accidentally bumps into Emily.

Emily: Huh? (snarls)

Doc: Leave this to me. Grumpy, what have you been up to?

Grumpy: Me? Oh, I was just, uh-

Emily: Who wants to know?!

Bashful: Um, we do.

Sleepy: All right, everyone. Let's not get too competitive before the games even start.

Ally: The games aren't really competitive since we've never lost.

Dopey: That's not a very nice thing to say.

Wolfie: Sorry, dearie, but these games aren't about being nice.

Sneezy: Well, you might use a little tact.

Happy: Hi, I'm Happy!

Grumpy: Oh, hi. I'm Grumpy.
Happy shakes Grumpy's hand really fast.

Happy. I know. You look just like my friend. His name is Grumpy too.

Grumpy: That's... heh, weird.
Happy notices the device around Grumpy's neck.

Happy: What's that?

Grumpy: It's sort of a spectrometer. I built it to track EM frequencies, but it can also contain anomalies. It measures things.

Happy: Like the party?

Grumpy: Yeah, though it doesn't look like much of a party to me.

Happy: I know. Something is definitely missing. Come on!
Happy grabs Grumpy's arm and pulls him somewhere at the party.

Grumpy: Aah!

Queen Delightful: Hello, everyone! I'd like to take this opportunity to greet all of our visitors from Moodyville University and welcome them to Jollywood.

Grumpy: (grunts) What the cheese is in these things?

Happy: Party cannons, of course!

Queen Delightful: And lastly, I would like to recognize the twelve people that Jollywood has elected to compete. I don't think we could have chosen a better group to represent the excellence, sportsmanship, and friendship the games stand for.

Grumpy: Um, are you sure this is a good idea?

Happy: Absolutely!
Happy blows up the party cannons and everyone at the party begins dancing to the music, then Happy begins to pony up.

Happy: Ooh, floaty!
Grumpy's device sucks the magic out of Happy.

Happy: Aw! Oh. I am party pooped.
The music stops all of a sudden once Principal Hildy starts speaking through the microphone.

Principal Hildy: I'd like to thank Queen Delightful for her unconventional welcome. It's been four years since the last Friendship Games, but it feels as though nothing has changed. Jollywood continues to pick its competitors in a popularity contest and Moodyville continues to field its top twelve students. It is a comfort to know that even after so many years of losses, your kingdom remains committed to its ideals, however misguided they may be. I wish you all the best of luck, regardless of the inevitable outcome.
