JULIE POV
I'm getting another sonogram to check on the baby.Sarah is due any day now.I decided to go by myself.
"Hello".The nurse leads me to my room.I lay down and lift my shirt up high.She puts the jell on my stomach and her face darkness.
"What's wrong"?
"This is a very rare thing to happen,but the way the baby is positioned its either going to be you,or the baby".
"What the hell!Are you saying that if I have this baby I could die"?
"No.Im saying that you will die.With all your medical conditions and everything...Im sorry".She swipes the jell of my belly and I role my shirt down.I thank the lady and walk to the car.I stay Im there until it gets dark and it start raining.I start breaking down in my car.I start to cry to the point were I'm gasping for air.I kick my feet and hit the steering wheel.This baby needs me.Taylor needs me.If the baby can't have its mommy than it should have its father.How am I supposed to tell the squad that am going to die?
AT THE HOUSE.
"Hey"!They all yell when I come in.I sit and the floor with them.
"How did it go"?Taylor ask while putting his arm around me.
"Guys.The nurse told me that I am one out many people that have this problem that I get weak by just walking.Its a condition that was in my bones and spread to my blood stream.Im gonna be too weak when I go into labor.They told me I'm not gonna make it.Im not going to live to see my baby".I stare at the floor.
ROSES POV
Matt squeezes my hand tightly.I see tears start to form in his eyes.
"My baby".He whispers.I see tears in everybody's eyes.This can't be happening.
Matthew it will be just fine.Your baby is going to live.
But Sarah needs her mother Rose.
"Rose?Matthew"?We both turn out attention towards her.
"I know you hate when I bring this up,but Matthew is the father and I would like the baby to be with you guys".
"Julie we can't take care of a baby.Im only 16!I can't do that".
"Well she also said something else".We All look at her.
"This baby is going to have problems and it might die to.I swear this is God teaching me a lesson".She ties her hair in a messy bun.
"We are so sorry Julie".Matt just stares at the floor.I don't blame him.I mean it's his daughter.How can he not be upset?His ex-girlfriend and his daughter are going to die and there is nothing any of us can do about it.
"I love you guys.It might not seem like it but I do.You guys are my family and I thank you for that".We all put our arms around each other.
"Forever".Matt said.Then we all went around in a circle saying forever.
"Forever".Julie breaks down crying into Taylor's shoulder.Taylor is in shock.I just runs his hand through her hair and holds onto her.
LATER THAT DAY
"Matt"?He looks up at me and wipes his tears quickly.
"yah"?
"Babe you don't have to hide your tears in front of me".He nods his head.I kiss him on the cheek.
"Your going to be okay".
"Yah but Sarah isn't.She isn't born yet and I feel so protective over her.Now she is going to die any day now".He was right.Sarah is going to die.
