"Taylor"?I heard that Taylor wasn't doing so well.Carter wanted me to talk to talk to him.

"Maggie.What are you doing here"?Taylor looks like shit.So does his place.He looks like all the life has been sucked out of him.

"How are you doing"?Taylor and I sit on the floor.

"I keep having nightmares".

"About what"?He starts to get shaky and I hold his hands.

"I keep having a dream that's if the past.It starts with her crying in my arms when she found out she was going to die and then our first kiss,then me going over her house and,having fun and us laughing and then me leaving once because I didn't want to fall in love with someone who is going to die.Then our sweet moments like her smiling,kissing,touching her cheek with my thumb".He looks down at his hand.

TAYLOR POV

I close my eyes and my dream starts at the bad part.Im holding on to her arms and she is covered in blood and looks really pale.

"Taylor".She looks into my eyes and starts to cry.

"Let me go".She kisses my cheek and I let her fall into the light.Thank you for loving me Julie.

ROSES POV

"What is wrong with him"!I yell at the doctor.Matt holds my hand and I sit back down.

"Your brother had fluid in his lungs and,blood.It turns out that Paul has lung cancer".My heart stops.

MATTS POV

Rose is in shock.Whenever she is she doesn't blink and she squeezes my hand.

"Baby"?She looks at me with teary eyes.

"What does this mean"?I ask the doctor for Rose.

"He tried a ware treatment.It worked on him.His lungs still don't work very well but he is breathing so just have him takes his pills everyday.He also has to be in oxygen for the rest of his life".Rose and Quietly cries into my chest.

"Baby it could be worst.Just be happy he is alive".She looks up and leans away and wipes her tears.

"Your right".I kiss her forehead.

She doesn't deserve this.Neither does Paul or Mrs.Gomez.They are good people and they have been through so much shit.

"You guys can go see him".Mrs.Gomez looks happy.That must mean that Paul is good!

ROSES POV

I hold onto Matt's hand as we enter Paul's room.He is on his bed watching CN.

"Hey Paul"!He smiles and breathes in heavily.I guess his lungs really do suck.I have to get used to him with a tube on his face.

I sit on his bed and hold his hand.

"How are you feeling"?

"Good.I mean for a person who just found out that they have lung cancer...Im really just happy that I'm alive to be honest".

I kiss his forehead and look into his blue eyes.

"I'm happy too".Paul looks behind me.

"Can I talk to Matt for a minute".

"Yah sure baby".Im hungry.Let me go get some food...

MATTS POV

Is everything okay Paul"?I sit on his bed.He shakes his head and looks away.I hear him sniffling and breathing heavily.

"Paul"?I gently pull his head so I can see him.His eyes are red and puffy and he has his eyes closed so he can focus on his breathing.

I feel tears start to come but I look the other way and wipe them away.I need to be strong for him.

"Matt Im scared".He starts to cry even more.I pull him into my embrace.

"Shh.Your okay Paul.Shh".I run his head.

"At times I f-feel like I'm d-drowning"!He pauses between his words to breathe.

"Paul look at me".

"I want to die"!He starts to cry out even more.He holds his chest to focus on his breathing.That broke my heart.

"PAUL"!I yell out and he looks at me.

"Breathe okay".He breathes in,then out.In and out.I hold out both my hands.

ROSES POV

Wtf was that.My brother was trying to act strong for me so he cried in front of Matt?I start to cry and bite my wrist to not cry out.Matt was acting like a father.I look at my diamond ring.I wipe my tears and walk into the room.
