"I'm so hungry!" I grumbled and opened a little pack of biscuits from the hotel and took a huge bite out of one.

Ricky was sat on the bed chewing his nails nervously as he stared at the tests I'd laid out in front of him on a little wash cloth from the bathroom.

"All I'm going to be allowed to eat it air if they're all positive." I muttered.

"That must have been long enough." he muttered and picked one up.

I gave him a terrified look before he beckoned me over.

"You should look first." he said and pushed the test into my hands.

"Together." I told him as I sat down next to him.

We turned them all over and looked. Positive, positive, positive and positive. The last one was a fancy one with how many weeks it thought you were pregnant.

"Please let it be three or four weeks." Ricky said quietly.

He sat back with his hands over his face as I looked at it. Was he crying?

Despite the life changing surprise we'd just had I sighed with relief.

"You're going to be a dad." I smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "Three to four weeks."

"Really?" he asked.

"That's what it says." I nodded and handed it to him.

He took it with shaking hands and took a few deep breaths before he looked at me.

"I know it's not at all what we planned but it's amazing and I'm so happy. It's just a bit of a shock." he smiled with tears running down his cheeks.

"Tell me about it!" I laughed. "Let's get up and have breakfast though. I need to eat for me and our baby now!"

We both quickly had a shower, sharing it to save time. Well that was the plan until hands wandered. He pushed me back against the cold tiles, making me squeak with surprise, and kissed my neck and ear.

"Rick I love this and I really want to but can we eat first?" I asked. "I'm hungrier than I am horny."

He groaned and pulled away. "Ok but we'll make up for it later." he sighed.

"Promise." I nodded and kissed him before I left the shower.

Downstairs in the hotel restaurant we both stared quietly at the huge choice of food. Our silence was partially due to my longing to eat everything available but knowing most of it is off limits to a pregnant vegetarian.

"Have some tea." Ricky says putting a cup of herbal tea in front of me.

"They don't have any normal tea?" I ask.

"No, Americans do herbal stuff rather than the builders tea you like. Besides, I looked up stuff you can't have and caffeine is bad for you and the baby." he pointed out.

"You looked up stuff?" I ask with a smile. "When?"

"This morning after you went back to sleep. Just before my run. I wanted to know what stuff I should get." he shrugged.

"Aw! You're cute when you take care of me." I cooed.

We spent our day sight seeing around the city and met up with the others in the afternoon. It turned out they'd been for a few too many drinks after the gig and had spent the morning groaning to each other about hangovers. It seemed like me and Ricky had got off lightly with our disturbed night of emotional roller coaster. Ricky was exceptionally cheerful today and I was still quite tired and emotional.

"We're not telling the guys yet. At least another month before we can tell them, just incase something goes wrong." I whispered to Ricky during the afternoon. He simply nodded in reply and kissed me.

"Stop getting smoochy you two. I'm feeling bad enough as it is!" Simon groaned.

I stuck my tongue out at him then pulled Ricky into a proper snog. The kind of kiss where I run my finger through his hair and sometimes he gives my bum a squeeze.

"Oh jeeze! You know you can get pregnant if you keep snogging like that!" Simon grumbled when we 'came up for air'.

Me and Ricky looked at each other for a second before laughing like crazy people. Little did Simon know.

"Aw, we love you really Curly!" I grinned. I gave him a little kiss on the cheek and ruffled his mass of curly hair.

During the day a few fans recognised the band and would chat and asked for photos. I smiled as I watched how much people loved them and just wanted to say a few kind words. In turn the guys were always obliging and polite no matter what situation they were in.

I knew from them that paparazzi didn't usually respect their privacy but they were grateful that fans did. I'd had a few unfortunate meetings with paparazzi when out Ricky. It was always a flurry of noise and camera flashes that made me feel claustrophobic but luckily Ricky would always take my hand firmly to lead me out of the crowd and into a bit of calm.

At the end of the day we all headed to the tour bus and got ready to head off to the next city. Inside at the back there were bunks to sleep in. Fortunately they had a spare bunk for me to sleep in. I hardly ever slept in the car while on a long drive with someone and I'd never stayed overnight on a tour bus so I wasn't sure about it and how well I'd sleep but it was only for a few days and better than sleeping on the floor.

The spare bunk that I would be using was a low one that I'd have to crawl into and was underneath Simon's. I really hoped he didn't snore in his sleep. I'd brought ear plugs just in case it was noisy.
